The hotel Alfa is housed in a six storey building, in the north-western part of Berlin, in the heart of the Tiergarten-Mitte district.
The property boasts a quiet yet central position and is well connected with the rest of the city by public transport: Tegel airport and the world-famous Kurfürstendamm are only a few kilometres from the property and the Tiergarten, extending out into the Brandenburger Tor, is situated round the corner.
During the summer months guests can relax on the roof garden, which offers spectacular views over the city.

Overall we thought the hotel was reasonable value for money. Not too expensive for what offered. Whilst not centrally located, close to Tegel airport and to good transport links to City. Staff friendly & helpful. Only downside was no curtains in room , just nets. Think this was oversight and we negotiated price reduction for this.

the room was very nice and clean. I dind't know about the extra charge for breakfast(11€), that was not so pretty.Alfa hotel is quite far from "mitte", you must take 1 bus(15 min)+ 2 underground (20min).

I general we enjoyed our stay and the hotel was good for what we wanted. It was, however, further from the centree of Nerlin thatn we would've liked and we had not understood that that the breakfast [which was excellent] was extra to the room. Our fault. We were imnpressed by the public transport facilities of Berlin and the fact that the hotel was further than we had thought was of little consequence.
How to reach Hotel Alfa
By car
From the A100 take the exit Jackob-Kaiser-Platz and follow the signs for the city centre (Kurfürstendamm). Turn left into Olbersstraße, right into Neues Ufer and left again into Huttenstraße. Finally turn left into Ufnaustraße.
By train
From the Zoologischen Garten railway station take underground line 9 to Westhafen, change to the express train (S-Bahn) 4 and get off at the Beusselstraße stop. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes.
By airplane
From the Tegel (TXL) airport take bus line X9 to the Jungfernheide underground stop, switch over to bus line 227 and get off at Neues Ufer. The hotel is only 5 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
