Internet was not working properly in rooms. Parking was not too expensive compared to other hotels in Berlin (5E/day). Breakfast was good and rich regarding choice. Hotel location was good (close to Postdamerplatz)and U-bahn station just in front of the hotel. Bathroom was very small.

Impossible to exclude the heating in the room. The pipes that carry hot water to the radiators are external. The environment is extremely dry! I was forced to open the window to sleep: noises of heavy traffic and on cold weather.

Fantastic and excellent as usual the best choice with the best price as an offer when it is normal price so the price is a little bit high this is my second visit to this hotel and as soon as I get an offer like this (2 nights with only 48 euros) so I will not hesitate one moment to reserve in this excellent hotel

this is a perfect place for short stays in Berlin. Like many other hotels in town, its accommodations are good. The location is just next to metro. You can also find some budget restaurants, store around or buy some fresh fruits in asian market 300m near by.

I doubt the hotel is really the rank 4th of travelers choice in the Tripadvisor website. That was my reason to chose. The hotel is clean and well managed with a relatively good location, There is no refrigrator at the rooms, washing bassin is too small to wash face, backyard construction was disturbing throughout our stay, the third bed was unreliable with broken supports, and only one (out of three elevators) would reach to 5th floor. Apart from above complains, the reat of features of the hotel was reasonable. Cannot really recommend, perhaps I would look for a better option in Berlin.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and there was always someone at the reception so if you had any problem. Right infront the hotel was a station for the u-bahn and if you walk a bit then you could reach potsdamer platz, brandenburger tor and many other sightseeings :)

Reasonable hotel for the price, but nothing special. Clean room, no kettle or iron but did have hair-dryer. Some problems were not handled quickly or well (leaking bathroom sink took two days; complete denial of problem when the wifi went on the blink, and took hours to fix it), but other staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to one of Berlin's red light districts, so if it's a problem (or advantage) to occasionally get accosted, it's worth noting. Not far from Winterfeldstrasse, where there are OK restaurants and a good market on Saturdays (& Wednesdays?).

The hotel in general was very good, breakfast was excellent. I didn't like the elevators, because are very old and the location was not really in downtown, maybe I made a mistake when I saw the word Centrun within the name of the hotel, but since the hotel is located near the subway it was easy to move everywhere.

At such a price, it was a very good quality as the room size & cleaniness were good. The nearest metro station was closed though and you need to walk 10 minute to the next nearest one. Still a good value of money as it was well connected by metro. Just the surrounding of the hotel has nothing much and wifi didn't work.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival. Loved the free WLAN access. Could give a hint on the directions on the website that U-Station Buelowstrasse is currently closed for building works and Kurfuerstenstrasse has to be used (and its called U12 not U2 these days). Excellent price and excellent central location.

I am happy I booked through venere. Everything went smoothly and I have no reason to complain. The rooms are nice, the staff friendly and efficient. The only flaw I find is the description how to reach the hotel, because the metro station mentioned has been discontinued. We had to walk around a bit to find the hotel; the more as the street numbers on the two sides of Buelow street don't run simultaneously. One side goes ascending; the other one descending. That took some time to figure out. Otherwise: I can only recommend the dea. But be quick: the hotel is hugely popular!

We were a party of 6 people and we were all satisfied with this hotel which was reasonable value for money. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean enough. The rooms were quiet. The breakfast was a buffet continental style with plenty of choice. The hotel is very close to the the metro rail which was easy to use. It only took 15 minutes to get to the Brandenburg Gate and only ten minutes to Potsdamer.

This hotel would have been fine. It's right by the U-bahn, making it easy to get around, but there's not much right within a couple of blocks. You're better off taking the U to Zoologischer Garten or the S to Savignyplatz for food/things to do in the area. The bed's were miserable. I could feel every spring. The wireless internet was highly unreliable. We went a few days without it in our 7 night stay. Though some of the staff were nice and helpful, others gave us a lot of attitude or just weren't friendly. It was like our asking about something was a chore, especially when it came to our asking about the internet that wasn't working. We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that other than the fact that it was overpriced. There is a restaurant at Savignyplatz called Schwarz's Cafe, which is open 24 hours and always serves breakfast. Berlin is awesome, but if I were returning, I would rather stay near Savignyplatz in the West or Unter den Linden in the East.

è praticamente di fronte alla metro quindi come mezzi è comodissimo e con la metro si può arrivare anche in aereoporto. come qualità prezzo secondo noi molto buono! buon viaggio the hotel is well located, it's in front of the underground which can bring you even to the airport the rooms are clean and spacious the neighborhood is creepy but people are not dangerous and there are severals supermarket and fruit seller!

The rooms at the Hotel Agon must be paper thin because we heard yelling and screaming and what sounded like doors slamming and running down the corridors until late, late into the night. Eventually fell asleep so don't know when it stopped. I felt like I was in a college dorm. No management enforced quiet. Also, the staff was abrupt. It's unfortunate that the staff reinforced the German stereotype of being abrupt and unfriendly.

The hotel is 3 stars superior (not 4 as indicated). It is anyway a good hotel with large and clean rooms, even if the structure is not brand new and sometimes the room forniture is not in perfect conditions. The hotel employees are really competent. The hotel is also very near to a station of underground line U2, which touches the most touristic places of Berlin. The hotel surroundings are maybe the only negative aspect: the zone is not very nice especially at night. Anyway we never had feeling of danger and the underground station is very near the hotel. We payed 50 euros a double room and for this price is a really excellent choice.

The staff at the desk at check-in was great. He assisted with parking, recommending not to use the hotel's lot. Also was great with directions for the next day's excursion. The location seems questionable with the busy road and the working girls on the corner, but if you walk one block over, there's a very pleasant restaurant and bar area. We are very seasoned travelers of Europe and don't expect much, so this hotel is perfect for our style. The breakfast is way over priced, don't bother. There are bakeries and coffee shops everywhere.

It seems a decent hotel with perfect location (near the subway). However one poor employee can ruin the entire effort and reputation of this hotel. Be careful if you plan to enjoy the night life then you shouldn't stay in this hotel. It is because the night staff his name Mr Moeller is very rough to people who come back to the hotel during at night. He would threaten the guest saying to call police or lock you out if you don't follow his rule and he is absolutely unprofessional as a hotel employee and talks impolitely to the guest. Watch out of the poor employee as him.

The Hotel was efficient and orderly, lot of guests all ages, but overall-view is not four-star. The room was spacious enough with proper furniture; corridors and lobbies needs some renovation. For one-week city tourists the location is excellent between two U-bahn stations and close to main streets with good bus connections. Kudamm, Potsdamer Platz, Branderburger Tor etc can be reached on foot. Breakfast is better and more versatile (quality and dishes)than it is in many other hotels. If you want to see the city and you need a base where to stay with reasonable prices, I can recommend this hotel; after having the breakfast one can walk&enjoy the attractions far to the afternoon.... During the stay the hotel seemed to be relatively full, also lot of different groups from Germany which shows that the price/quality relation is OK. If you want to spend your time inside four floors, this hotel is not the best one for that. Some problems occured in the breakfast time when the restaurant was totally occupied; lack of personnel (maybe temporary) was obvious, in the next morning the situation was corrected.

I could even not imagine that in Germany you could not watch German television. Room was clean and very well kept. Hotel is just two stations from shopping street and is very close to U station. I recommend this property, but you should insist on things you desire.

Ideally located to explore the city both in daylight and at night. Excellent buffet breakfast for 11 euros. Obviously, it is not a four star hotel (for Spanish standards, but it can be safely recommended to anyone who simply wishes to have a modest and inexpensive starting point to enjoy Berlin.

The staff was very friendly and helpful which was nice. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for two. The transit links were very convenient to the location of the hotel.

There was no restaurant service the 24th december. I have read in the webpage that the breakfast was included, but it wasn't.

We booked this place last minute for New Year's week, and what a heavensent package we found! Quite well centered in the middle of west and east Berlin! The rooms were plush and cozy. The front lobby could use a modern facelift, but the staff always compensated by welcoming us at the front desk with the kindest, warmest smiles. Housekeeping was always considerate of us and our needs. We didn't want to leave :)

There was no airconditioning in the room. It was very hot in the room. If the window is open, it was very noicy. A train station is just outside the window. Other than that, the location is great. It is very close to transportation and everything. The included breakfast is great. Very good quality of food.

i stayed both on my own and with a group, following my single night. on my own, i had no complaints about my stay, as i slept nearly the entire time before my group arrived. however, i found the range of helpfulness from the different desk clerks to be very drastic. two of the (younger) women working the desk were helpful and friendly, while the older clerks were downright rude during our checkout time, not to mention unhelpful during other inquiries. i suggest more uniform hiring policies.
