We liked the clean and big room and the balcony. English speaking staff is important for us. Near to S and U bane. We will be back on our next visist to Berlin.

This was my first time at Hotel Agon am Alexanderplatz and it was a pity there wasn't a private parkingzone fot the hotelguests. But nevertheless the overall impression of the hotel was good.

It seemed to me that the hotel was a rebuild from a former east German apartment block. Not yet finished.

The room was amazingly huge! Apparently, this was formerly an apartment building & my single room was in a former king-sized studio apt. I have never had such a large hotel room. Off the entrance hall was a dressing area with plenty of closet space, full-length mirror, coat hooks. I could've moved in & been very comfortable! The bathroom itself was larger than my entire room in Copenhagen! There was a kitchenette in the main space, but the catch was you paid extra for the use of a fridge, cutlery, dishes & pans. I didn't need that stuff, so no problem. The balconies are spacious as well, with wide open views since the building is set back from the wide avenue. Service was good. Breakfast was good. Just be aware there are no cafes or shops within a couple of blocks, but Prenzlauer Berg & Freidrichshain are within easy walking distance, as well as Alexanderplatz. Trams stop right out front. Highly recommended.

It was a very pleasant stay during the two nights I stayed over there.The hotel is very conveniently located too.

nice hotel in a quiet area local transport in to berlin is excellent once you get used to it tram and bus stops outside hotel serve all of berlin will stay herev again on next trip to berlin overall very good stay with good breakfast and facilities,superb argentinian restaurant only 5 minutes walk away also.

The price is right. This is more like a hostel than a hotel. Scary fluro lighting in the halls and dated room decor. Good breakfast, and you'll need it because it's a long way from anything, although there are plenty of transport options at the front door (long way to closest U-bahn though so be warned). If you want a place to dump your bags and rest your head with no trimmings, this is fine.

Great ,ocation if you want to be close to Alexanderplatz; but the surrounding area is a bit depressing. This hotels has the biggest rooms I have ever seen, not only in this category but in anything short of a 5* hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Agon am Alexanderplatz! Very spacious and clean rooms, very competent and friendly staff. An excellent treatment at reasonable prices.
