Adina Apartment Hotel Berlin Checkpoint Charlie - Berlin

My wife and I stayed at the Adina Apartment Hotel for a 5-day getaway to Berlin. We were immediately welcomed by a young man with excellent English language skills who gave us great restaurant and shopping tips for the area. It was very close to metro system with lots of great shopping nearby, good restaurants in walking distance. Coming from Moscow, we are amazed at how quiet the neighborhood there was. We loved staying there and have already recommended it to friends.

THis was our first visit to Berlin and I must say an extremely pleasant one.The hotel was without fault. The staff spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful and friendly.We stayed in a studio and the layout was great.We were in close proximity to the U-Bahn which made accessing the sights very easy.We will definitely return to Berlin and stay at the Adina.

We had a great stay at the Adina Checkpoint charlie . I loved the fact that the apartment had it's own washing machine and dryer.The sofa bed my long legged 15 year old son slept on was comfortable for him . We also enjoyed seeing the vegemite (and ate) at the breakfast buffet !! We would definately stay here again.

Great hotel! Within walking distance to Museum Island, Checkpoint Charlie, Friederichstrasse (shopping area), Gendarmenmarkt (beautiful square with many restaurants and cafés), Brandenburg Gate, several subway stations, etc. We didn't feel the nedd of use public transportation until the third or fourth day of our stay. Very spacious room (apartment), with fully equiped kitchen, bathroom with washing and drying machines for clothes, very clean. Restaurant good for a happy hour drink or a quick snack. Helpful and polite staff. Wouldn't think of anywhere else to stay in Berlin. Already recommended it to friends. Great value.

Strict rent-a-bike polices. The lobby Internet did not function properly. Regimented (very German like) reception staff. If any issues, ask for the friendly Australian Hotel Manager. Lovely place and very comfortable for a long stay.

Unfortunately the Hotel's Sauna, Pool and Gym area were closed for 2 of the 4 days that we stayed in the Adina but besides that it was a Great Hotel! Very Clean, large room and great kitchen facility so you can make your own breakfast and have snacks in the fridge. Good location too as it is within 10 min walk to shops, supermarket and Metro and within 20 min walk to most of the hot Tourist spots! Would definitely recommend the Adina for a trip to Berlin.

The best hotel I have been to in a long time. an excellent Stay.

The apartments were really nice! And amazing for the price.. staff were always happy to help. Looked after luggage for us on departure day and also allowed us to check in early.Excellent swimming pool,gym etc. Well equipped apartment,nice bathroom plenty of towels. Would highly recommend.

Excellent apartment/hotel. Really recommend it. Modern, clean, well-located. Reception staff have excellent English and were super helpful in booking taxi to airport and locating a pharmacy at weekend. My family enjoyed the pool and leisure facilities. Restaurant (Aussie/Asian fusion)is bit pricey for Berlin. Hotel near Checkpoint Charlie and other "East Berlin" sights. Get S9 train from Schonefeld to Alexanderplatz and switch to U2 to Spittelmarkt. Then short walk down Leipzigerstrasse. Lidl supermarket nearby. Hope to return in summer!

Not in the most upmarket part of Berlin but very convenient and an excellent choice for our needs. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't try the restaurant as self catered breakfast more covenient

We stayed 6 nights in a one bedroom apartment. We could not fault the accommodation.A lavish bathroom with washing machine, separate dryer and heated towel rail, spacious bedroom and sitting room and well equipped kitchen. All fixtures and fittings new and of good quality. Room internet access was extra but reasonably priced. Hotel is positioned in the old east Berlin within walking distance of two underground stations and major sites such as the Opera, museum quarter and Checkpoint Charlie. The only drawback was that the surrounding streets were dark and empty late at night when returning on foot from the underground or a show. Ideal for families as witnessed by all the children coming and going in the lobby.

We had a fantastic two day break in Berlin. We stayed in a two bedroomed appartment which was really spacious and also had two bathrooms. Our apartment was so comfortable we ended up spending quite some time staying in. The staff were great throughout our stay. We were allowed to check in early and check out late. They went our of their way to accomodate us, even getting us a CD player. The sauna, swimming pool and whirlpool really added the final touch to a perfect weekend in Berlin. A great place to stay for a girlie weekend!
