Hotel ackselhaus & bluehome - Berlin

Everything about the ackselhaus & bluehome is excellent. The apartment I had was an absolute dream - beautifully decorated and furnished, with plenty of light and very quiet. The neighborhood, Prenzlauerberg is trendy, beautiful, interesting and vibrant and the hotel is centrally located with bus, subway and tram stations nearby.

We stayed in the Bluehome, in a studio deluxe room which was spacious and had a nice bathroom with a deep bath and a good power shower. Our window looked out on to a courtyard, which was not owned entirely by the hotel, and there was some noise from latenight revellers one night out of our 8 night stay. Hotel receptionists were helpful, there is a computer for guests use in reception, and there is free wifi. The breakfast area was nice, with seating outside on the pavement as well as inside. The breakfast selection was a great range of assorted breads, cheeses, cold meats, yogurts, cereal, and a boiled egg! The area is a quiet residential street in the old East Berlin, but it has 6 or 7 excellent restaurants and cafes all within a couple of minutes walk. The Underground Station for the U2 line is about 4 blocks away, and this gives access to the excellent transport system for Berlin. The Bluehome is rather fish themed, with 3 tanks of tropical fish making up one wall of the breakfast room. There is a nice small seating area on the ground floor, in an internal courtyard, with a small open fish pond. There is a small honesty bar here, with wine, beer etc very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would have no hesitation about returning.

This quiet and beautiful hotel is located in Prenzlauer Berg close to Kollwitz Platz, great cafes and restaurants. Not too far from shopping and Museums Insel. Make sure to ask for a room on the first floor if you don't like to climb the stairs!

The rooms are very nice, clean and quiet and the breakfast very good. The hotel is very conveniantly situated near an underground station that takes you in few minutes to Postdamer place.

Maybee you could specify more precisely what you get when you order normal room, exclusive room etc. maybee with pictures. But a super nice hotel which invite you to come back :) specialy when the weather is more sunny and warm!!! but that a bit difficult for you to arrange!

Ackselhaus & bluehome kann man auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!! Sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Angestellte, super Frühstück, ruhige und doch ziemlich zentrale Lage. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Berlin sicherlich das Hotel der Wahl!
