Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin - Berlin

Wifi has to be included in the price as it has become one if the essential service. Overall the experience has been excellent. The hotel staff is helpful and rooms are modern. Now a days coffeemaker is a standard fitting in the hotel room however it was missing in hotel esplanade.

Great hotel, nice staff, kids friendly, central and quiet, fabulous Biergarten (Schleusenkrug) nearby, we enjoyed and we'll be back, when in Berlin, Breakfast very good bit should be included in price

Loved this hotel. Rooms with view of the river do not exist, at best you might get a glimse of the canal.

Definitely recommend the venue for business or pleasure alike.

Every 10 weeks I am in Berlin, I will - if possible - stay in this hotel again.

The only little defect is that the hotel is not close to a metro stop, but if you travel by bus you can use the 100 which stops very close to the hotel.

The location of the hotel is off the beaten tourist path, but has decent access to public transportation and is quiet. It is not really within comfortable walking distance of major sites or museums. Breakfast was not included and was considerably overpriced. Internet service was not included and was outrageously expensive. It is downright silly and offensive for hotels in this technically advanced age to charge for Wi-Fi internet access. One is left with the impression that the hotel prefers to be a business hotel that wishes to cater only to business guests who pass outrageous charges onto expense accounts.

Great hotel. A bit pricey but when you sample the service, food and general surroundings you'll understand why. Great staff - very efficient, good food and fabulous spa /pool / sauna. Annoys me a bit to have to pay 20euros a day for internet when already paying a lot for the room but overall great.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the hotel. The pool was very relaxing and the room was very spacious compared to other hotels in europe. The only downside is the hotel is not near major attractions or restaurants (besides it's own).

We spent here with my wife two nights and we were very satisfied. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Berlin - near the Tiergarten and Kudamm. We used the SPA although fitness center should equipped with a more modestly equipments, swimming pool and other parts are pure and perfect, and after a long day ideal.

We enjoy to stay in the hotel. It was near to Postdamer Platz and the National Gallery. The worst is that, like others five star, the hotel don't have free wifi :-(
