Grand City Hotel Berlin Ku`Damm - Berlin

Everything was excellent, I will recommend the hotel to my friends.

Hotel pulito,comoda posizione vicino alla metropolitana.Nei dintorni Kurfustendamm :via piena di negozi, ristoranti,ecc.Lo consiglio a coppie giovani e a chi vuole spendere poco e avere tanta comodità.Un consiglio:fate colazione da Kranzer,sulla strada per andare alla metropolitana di Zoo Garten.

Excellent value great location

The hotel did not honor our reservation and instead booked us into a different hotel which was not very good and was actually less expensive that this one but they still charged us the Hotel Imperial Berlin rate.

The staff has been very professional, but the hotel needs to renew the facilities (for example: hairdryer, International TV channels, fridge in the room....).

The hotel is excellent located and the personel very friendly. However, when booking specify a room with view in the back (on the street side can be noisy) and no smoking (it can smell really bad). For a small budget and girls who have to go out nice dressed at late hours, it is excellent: I felt safe.

No wireless network available.

El hotel está bastante bien. Nos costó bastante encontrar donde estaba el hotel. Nosotros llegamos al aeropuerto de Schoenefeld y para llegar al centro de Berlín no hay pérdida. Recomiendo la targeta Welcomcard (pagas 21 euros para 72 horas y permite coger todo tipo de transporte público. Sólo se debe picar con el primer viaje q hagas, en los buses se tiene que enseñar) con las zonas A y B hay suficiente, si solo estais por el centro. Para llegar al hotel dsd zoologischer Garten lo mejor es coger la U9 bajarse en Kurfürstendamm y hacer transbordo para ir a la U1 y bajarse en la última parada UHLANDSTR. (El recorrido es cortito, pero para ir con maletas es la mejor opción) Siempre os tendreis q desplazar para ir al centro, nosotros lo q haciamos era coger el bus 100 y así nos dabamos una vuelta por los lugares céntricos. El hotel está bastante bien, no entra el desayuno en el precio q aparece aquí. Cuando llegas te preguntan si querras desayunar con ellos o no y se paga a parte. Por la zona hay sitios donde desayunar, comer y cenar bien de precio. BUEN VIAJE!!!

Recomiendo este tipo de hotel, por la localización (cerca de una de las calles más animadas de Berlín: comercios, restaurantes, bien comunicada...) sin ser la zona más turística. La habitación es aceptable (calidad/precio/higiene)por el precio, y si el plan es sólo para dormir. El precio del desayuno es un poco desproporcionado (12 euros) si se tiene en cuenta que cerca tienes cafeterias y puedes desayunar por 3-4 euros. Berlín es una de las cuidades más completas de Europa, por su cultura, arquitectura, gastronomia, historia... Hay que conocerla!!

Good location, clean and quiet rooms for a good price. Staff could be more friendly and helpful but it didnt bother.

I WILL NOT LIKE TO STAY. THERE IS NO AIRCONDITIONING. ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL. PRICE PAID IS NOWHERE NEAR TO SERVICWES OFFERED.

It is a nice hotel placed in a area of the city that is safety, clean and full of shops. But the breakfast was not included and it was 12 euro......in the brassieres that you can find close to the hotel is cheaper and very good.

It's a nice hotel, close to centre (Mitte), and inside shopping area!!! Employees are competent and kind as well.The corridor upstairs seems a Shining Movie scene!!! but it's clean.Only one bad thing: the bathroom had a broken tube but...we didn't care about it!! It was a great holyday...

1. Poorly-shaped breakfast room, crowded, with many seats too far from the buffet. 2. Dining room and bar closed all Sunday and Monday. This was not indicated on the website and caused much inconvenience; There was NO way of getting even a hot drink in the evening. 3. When the bar was open in the evening the seating mainly consisted of a few very high barstools, which were too high and awkward for a small 82 year-old member of our company. (There would have been some seats but these had already been laid for breakfast.) 4. Very overpriced internet access and misformation given about nearest internet cafe. 5. There could have been a wider range of non-German television channels available. 6. The location was more like 5 minutes from the Ku'Damm rather than 2 minutes and just a little too far from the UBahn to be a comfortable walk. 7. The double-bedroom had an inconvenient shape though the single bedroom was very good. 8. The actual beds and buffet were very good.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet and close to the city center area o Berlin. There was no breakfast included in the price I paid, but it seems that in Berlin breakfast is almost never included. A very good stay, I think I'll come back there

Breakfast was not included in the cost of the room and at 12 euros per person, made the cost of the room much more than we would have liked to spend. The room and bathroom were very nice and spacious and shower pressure was excellent, but the walls were very thin and it was easy to hear conversation in the next room.

An unpretentious place not far from Uhlandstrasse metro station. Our room was clean and quiet and the breakfast (included in the price we paid) varied and generous. Staff were all polite and friendly. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

My wife and I thought the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the buffet breakfast was superb. Very handy for the metro and right next to all the main shopping areas. We really couldn't fault the hotel and is was great value for money. Highly recommended. J.Andrew.

The hotel didn't have our reservations when we arrived, and then gave us one room without air conditioning, and one with air conditioning...but there was no point since the controller to the air conditioning unit was missing and they implied that we had something to do with it missing!
