Very nice ,quiet and central, have free parking cross the street

Great hotel and very well located! Has parking space (@ Eur 16/day)which in Berlin is an advantage. Wi Fi is not free (@ Eur 12.50/day)and breakfast is not included (@ Eur 18/day) but you can go out and have it in a quaint place in Kantstrasse (just around the block) for Eur 5. The hotel looks upward of the three stars awarded though rooms are not overly spacious. I certainly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay, wonderful hotel, very cozy, great price. Only problem we had was with the housekeeping - they tend to knock on the door quite often during the morning, even tholught we had a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on the door! Quite annoying.

It's not at all a 4 star hotel; it's old, not well maintained, and what is worse, not clean. Good position, but I would not recommend it, though the price was quite low.

Good position near the Zoo, 2/3 Km from the city centre (mitte): the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the public transport. The staff is cordial and our room was big. Raccomanded.

Apart from the responsible of the restaurant (monday 1 Nov. evening)who I think is not suitable for this kind of job because he is too "nervous" with the staff infront of the clients all the rest of the staff is excellent. This is the second time we stayed at the Excelsior Hotel and I think that this hotel if OK for any kind of clientele

Rooms are very small. You can see that the hotel has been renovated but not a high quality renovation. The lobby-bar-restaurant are very nice, but the rooms are not worth 4* to my opinion and I travel a lot.

Nel complesso buon hotel, vicinissimo alla zona "shopping sfrenato" di Berlino e servito da bus e metro (5 minuti a piedi) con i quali si va ovunque. L'unico neo: vedere la TV costa 22 euro, non mi sono informato se al giorno o settimana, comunque troppi!!!

Very standard, noise from corridor disturbed sleep

Beim Auschecken war die Frau sehr unhöflich. Sie hat falsche Rechnungen für uns ausgestellt. Wir waren zu sechst von drei Firmen. Die Doppelzimmer hat sie als Einzelzimmer, die Einzelzimmer als Doppelzimmer fakturiert,- und sie war einfach nicht bereit es zu veraendern. Wir waren wirklich sehr enttaeuscht.

Great location and hotel. Breakfasts were fantastic. Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The bathroom in particular needs refurbishing, though the room on a whole also seemed quite old. Near items attached to the tiles (soap dispenser etc) one could see emerging funghi colonies. The hair-dryer is so old that it's technology burns the hair rather than drying it. On a four-star hotel I expect a certain newness in addition to various services. It is my impression that competing hotels in Berlin have higher room-standard for the same price and the same star-level. The staff on the other hand, was excellent in all possible ways!

It's a boring neighborhood but close to KuDamm and Savignyplatz. Biggest drawback is the expensive breakfast buffet, which isn't included in the price. Lobby bar is nice with friendly staff but chilly in winter when the front door opens. And, for little more than pension prices, it's nice to have that bar for a coffee or sandwich or cocktail. And nice to have an electric kettle in the room as well.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The quality of the hotel and room rates are right for a 3-star hotel, but it is advertized as a 4-star hotel. During our stay, on one of the days, the hotek did not have hot water. The staff blamed the city for cutting the hot water supply for the whole neighborhood. This sounded a bit strange and we have checked with people who stayed at hotels nearby and they did not have any problem on the same day.

Does not deserve 4 stars seeing the level of cleanliness. The room was dusty and we found an empty water bottle under the bed. Well located for any trips around the city.

Nice clean hotel, great location central to main train station. Friendly and attentive service. Very clean, room was a bit cramped.

I was disappointed with the staff at this hotel. The rooms and facilities were good, but for a so called high class hotel, I found the staff very rude to me, maybe because I wasn't European. It was evident at their recption and even in their Resturant. The other cafe or what ever was never open except for breakfast, even though it was surposed to be. The one morning I tried to use it for breakfast, it was closed for a touring group

This was my first trip to Berlin and the Hotel Excelsior was a good choice.Its a quite hotel in Berlin and well connected to public transport. The ZOO Garten station is minutes away from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and local shopping nearby. The Room was nice and we had no problems during our stay. We would recommend this hotel to people with similar budgets. Its a good area and easy access to lot of basic things nearby.

Great hotel for the price we paid, good location and would be happy to stay there again or recommend to others.

We, two couples, had a very nice stay at Berlin Excelcior hotel during our long weekend in Berlin. Eacy access to all our weekend activeties. Our next stay in Berlin will also be at Berlin Excelciro hotel

We were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed there in the week after Easter so it may not have been as busy as some other times of the year. The staff were helpful at all times. We used the Hotel main restaurant and were very pleased at the quality and value of the evening meal. The breakfast was exceptionally good with a very wide range of types of food with the quality again being high. We would be vvery happy to stay at the Excelsior again.

The hotel room was very spacious and nice, breakfast excellent and the location close to the Zoological garden station was very convenient.

Ottima struttura.

An unique 70ies styled hotell. Feel like time turned back some decades. Kind of charming but defect water supply regulator in the bathroom and old aircondition system are not classy. Too small and crowded reception area.
