The lady in reception was not very welcoming at all. She was moody and complained when I checked in hours later than I should've been because my flight had been delayed for 4 hours. But the site tells me there's no curfew i had to wait a long time outside until she woke up. Also when I checked out because it was an hour later than it should've been I was charged for an extra half day. Rooms were not very silent and the shared bathroom was not very clean. The shower in the room is a joke if you want privacy. Avoid.

Great place to stay. A minute walk from Chalottenburg S-Bahn station. From there, only 2 stations to Zoologischer Gardens, which is a great central place. You can also take the S-Bahn to and from Schonefeld - it takes about 45 minutes but only costs about 2.10 Euros. The room was clean and very spacious. In addition, the staff was very friendly. Overall, A great place to stay.

Staff were accomodating, but preferred to speak German, which just adds to the charm of being in Berlin. Perfect location. S bahn across the street, U bahn around the corner. 2km from the bus station when arriving with an intercity bus. Overall an acceptable budget hotel.

it's not easy to find a nice and not too expensive place in berlin, so this is an o.k. choice. area is o.k., attached to the train station, which is very comfortable. the hotel is made out of appartments in an old building and walls are very thin, so we could hear people going through the hall as if they were inside our room. the surrounding was quite, but some guests weren't. some staff were nice, others less, but all together o.k. breakfast is good, enough choice. there are a few toilets for common use, all without a window, so not a very nice thing to go in after someone you don't know. we had an unpleasant experience, cause the shower in our room was broken, but we got another room immediately when it happened. the place is o.k. and i might go back to it. anyway, berlin is so wonderful, you don't really care about the hotel as long as it's decent.

I stayed just one night in Berlin. The City pension Berlin is not a luxurious hotel but I found the hotel manager friendly (and he speaks good english), the room clean and the bedding good for a small price.

Great and friendly place. Right in front of S bahn and U bahn stations. The airport shuttle is also right next to it. Excellent option for the price.

Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast. Property is a bit dingy, but kept as clean as is reasonable to expect. Our room on the street side was unpleasantly noisy with cars and motorcycles. Neighborhood around the corner was very nice.

This pension is very well located in a handy position near both the U-Bahn and Charlottenburg S-Bahn. I also found the room to be quiet for sleeping. Its a simple room, but the place is well kept and I would recommend it as a good place to stay for this price bracket.

This is an excellent hotel. It is very near both an underground and overground station so getting around Berlin was very easy. The price includes a buffet breakfast, which sets you up for a day of sightseeing.
