We had an excellent stay at "Art Hotel Charlottenburger Hof" in Berlin. We did especially enjoy the friendly and competent service, the good restaurant tips given by the personal and the high standard of the hotel concerning the technical equipment of the rooms.

The hotel is conveniently situated near to metro and S-bahn, there is a big shopping center nearby with supermarkets and eateries. My room indeed had a computer as advertized. The hotel indeed supplied free coffee and fruit. My room was quiet except for a few hours one day when a noisy group was playing cards in the yard 3 floors below. In fact, the only glitch was that I was asked to go for a walk for a couple of hours after I arrived at noon because the room had not been ready.

Very well located : bus, U-bahn, S-bahn. Free internet access in each room is very practical. Warning for families with children : many nightclubs around the hotel.

the hotel is very well located, the train station is just in front of the building and the metro station is just 5 mins away. the quad room we were given was nice, clean and spacious and the personnel on duty was friendly. would definitely stay again in this hotel.

Rooms are tiny but tidy, the walls between rooms are probably too thin which does not serve to quietness. The area is close to Red Light facilities, in fact the hotel is surrounded by them. Very convinient location as for public transportation, direct bus line from airport Tegel, close to S-Bahn and bus lines.

Although the singles are very small, each room has its own computer/Internet access, and is colorfully decorated in keeping with the "art hotel" theme. Windows face quiet courtyard. Staff was welcoming and spoke English well. Very good breakfast buffet in associated "Miro" cafe next door for only 8 Euros. Good neighborhood with many shops and restaurants. Steps from Charlottenburg train station and bus line to Berlin/Tegel airport. Good value, would definitely stay there again.

When I checked in the hotel, I was told the room had already been rented, even though you had my credit card number and I was going to be charged for a 'no show'. They finally found me a room which was inappropriate after a great deal of discussion and haggling, of course, in German. Fortunately I was with a German speaking individual who helped me; otherwise I would have had to sleep on the street. The final charge was 30 Euro more than what you quoted me. Your service was of no value to me. I will not use your service again.

This is the best place I stayed in Europe. The staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The computer with internet in every room is awesome and the price is good. Stay here - you won't regret it!

Positives were (1)that the receptionists were v. friendly and helpful, speaking good English (2) the bed was extremely comfortable (3) there was free internet access in the room (4) the breakfasts (and other meals) served by the adjacent Cafe Miro were superb and very reasonably priced (5) cleaning was meticulous. The only negative was location: Stuttgarter Platz is close to a main rail link (itself useful, of course, and in a slightly seedy district, which made it noisy, as did the fact that the Miro is open 24 hours, and the clients at 3 in the morning could be disturbing. So I'd recommend asking for a room NOT overlooking Stuttgarter Platz. In all other respects, it was good value for money and pleasing.

The smallness of the rooms was partly made up for by the provision of free Internet computers in every room. The 'art' decor was fine, but not challenging. The location is somewhat seedy (near Charlottenburg railway station).

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Great value for money. Also has very nice cafes near by. People as myself who don't know Berlin and are staying in this hotel should take a train to the Charlotenburger S-Bahn station instead of walking from Zoo garden. Will save you quite some time.

A pleasant hotel well located, especially for the S bahn and the Opera. The only gripe is that they prefer payment by cash. It would help if this was made clear. I have no problems in recommending this hotel or staying there again.

Excellent hotel and good location. With 3 of us travelling this was the only decent sized room we stayed in during 3 weeks of travel in Central Europe. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

Huge, bright room with internet access from room included(!!); across the street from the S-Bahn; staff very nice; very clean.
