WOW, what a beautifully decorated and furnished hotel(adults only so no children to trash the place), well-deserving of its No.1 rating. It has helpful, efficient,friendly staff in all departments but the wonderful restaurant staff were especially good, making my husband's birthday while we were there a special day. The pool was a little small but sufficient for the size of the hotel (which is a gem among the taller blocks in Benidorm) and, considering the plot, the owners have done a good job of making it a pleasant area with a jacuzzi pool and a telephone for bar service. Guests had full use of the Benicaldea Spa across the road in a sister hotel but sadly it was being refurbished while we were there; if it is refurbished to the same standard as the Riviera Beach though, it will be fab. The only thing I could fault them on is the evening entertainment but they were trying and maybe supplied what they thought clients wanted; it just wasn't our kind of thing; I'm sure they will improve though as they have got everything else right. It was in a great spot and I'd definitely stay there again if I go back to Benidorm.
