Hotel Palmeral - Benidorm

Do not stay here if you need a parking space for your car. I booked this hotel because it specifically said it had parking for guests but when we arrived, they don't have any parking at all and because it is located so close to the beach, there was no parking anywhere on the streets surrounding the hotel for miles.

Very nice hotel and exelent location, Disaponted they did not have a car park or Air Condition due to major alterations

Only one small thing. We would have liked to be able to have booked for a double bed,(not two single).The staff were extremely helpful and always had a smile.

The staff at the hotel were very kind to provide us with the information we needed. The hotel is located in a quiet area. This is an advantage as we were able to have the windows opened at night. The hotel was closed to good restaurant, especially a restaurant called "Yago" were good breakfast are served.

Stayed in Pameral on route to Valencia. It was a lovley hotel, a little way out of main Benidorm area about a 20 min walk along the sea front which was nice. Rooms were basic but very clean. Had a seaview straight onto beach. The front reception area had been modernised since web photos had been taken and looks very nice. Staff were friendly and hotel was in a quite area with a few nice bars and restaurants very close by.Would recommend hotel to anyone who does not want stay in the middle of Benidorm but its near enough to visit. Price of €50.00 per room plus €7.00 for breakfast was excellent.

The hotel itself was great; inexpensive, and clean, located on the quieter, (more Spanish than British) side of the beach in Benidorm. My problem is in the reservation system. Four days prior to arriving for our four day reservation, our plans changed. We now only required the hotel for the first two nights. We tried to call the hotel to change it, but were told we must email Venere. Email access can be difficult to find in rural Spain, however we did find one and sent the email. When we checked in, we were told that we had the room for four nights. I asked them to change that, thinking that the hotel must have some communication with Venere, but was told I must contact Venere. I finally did, but it was not until checkout that I got confirmation that I would not be charged for four nights. I also wasted a lot of time trying to find an email and getting it to work. I would suggest you be more flexible with changes to reservations. I would not use Venere again.

Once we got over the language barrier we found the hotel very helpful. The manager of the hotel was extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

I have nothing negative to say about El Palmeral hotel.We received a very warm welcome,despite arriving late at night,all the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was of a high standard.The average scores I have given are on information I did not explore.

An absolute fantastic stay, I have never before met such friendly people, they made me so welcome and I stayed extra days. Special thanks to Manuel.Everything about the hotel and service was simply excellent.

The low score above on 'prices quoted' came from a misunderstanding. The price simply quote a room rate. There was some confusion on check out when I was told this included breakfast ( which I did not have during my stay and thus did not wish to pay for ). Breakfast charges were deducted so I paid what I believed to be a fair price however the receptionist implyed she would have to make up the commission difference. I cannot understand this but clarity in terms of ensuring the issue of room or B&B rates on your web Site would help. Also other charges such as 'sea view' are correctly extra but not visible on your web site. A telephone contact to the hotel via your web site would assist.

Breakfast was monotinous -same everyday. Air conditioning broke for 2 of the 4 days we were there. so rooms where stifling.

Very impressed,friendly helpful staff, stylish modern decor. Breakfast excellent.As always, single room small, and at back of hotel.Sea view would have made my stay perfect! Would definately stay at Palmeral again and recommend to friends.

We were not expected,however we were dealt with extremely well. The hotel was closed for decoration but the security man opened up the building when he saw details of the reservation despite the fact that it was almost 7pm on a Saturday night. He also arrangede for someone to come in and give us breakfast and provided a front door key. Customer service was excellent!!
