Hotel Magic Fenicia - Benidorm

A busy hotel with a delightfully Spanish ambience. The buffet fodd was excellent value high quality. It was a shame that the balcony had been removed to make extra space in the room which was not really necessary. I will stay there again but will go for a higher grade room.

The food at this hotel was awful - the "hot" food was not hot, and none of the hot foods were labelled, so it was a guess as to what you would be eating. The dining room was badly organised, especially for the breakfast time, when the fruit juice and coffee machines were so close, and the cups and glasses were on the wrong side for the drinks, so the queue got into a big muddle. We had 3 rooms - the first was dark and the balcony was not looking too safe where the screens had been put up and not finished. We asked to change to a better room, as we had paid the all inclusive price, and was not on the Pensionists's Social Security reduced payment. We were moved to a "better" room about 12.30pm and by 4.30 the same afternoon, we had to move again, as water was dripping through the bathroom ceiling! It had obviously been dripping for quite a while as the ceiling tiles were very wet! We should not have been moved into this room. The third room was worse than the first one - the only reason we accepted it was because it had twin beds, and as my husband was recovering from an operation (not helped by all the moving around the hotel rooms) so we had a really bad day, which was the day before my husband's birthday. We had 2 lunches at the Cristal Park hotel as the food was so much better there - we had stayed there before, but thought your review of the Fenicia was good, so we thought we would try that - a BIG mistake. We wouldn't want to stay at the Fenicia again, unless we are given free accommodation and food to make up for the disastrous time we have just had. I was taken ill on the thursday afternoon, so we went to reception and informed them that I wanted to go home as I was too porrly to stay and we only live ½ hour from the hotel. So, we did not stay on thursday or Friday nights - I couldn't fact 2 more nights in that room. I wrote to the hotel the next day from home, and asked if they would refund 70 euros as we hadn't stayed the full period, especially

Excellent location close to Poniente Beach and old town. Hotel is predominantly used by Spanish guests. Food was good but enjoyed less by our children - needed more child friendly options eg pasta

We enjoyed our second (and first) visit to the fenicia and we would certainly come again.

The Fenicia provided everything we expected and we will certainly be returning there in the future

We had a fantastic time it was the first time in Benidorm and the group of hotels, we are getting together this Friday to arrange for the 8 of us to come back again next year this time for a week, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and we would have not hesitation in recommeding this hotel/group of hotels. many thanks for making our stay very special.
