Hotel Servigroup Diplomatic - Benidorm

I booked this break online & it was always in my mind (what if) but had no need to worry as everything went very smoothly. I asked online for a room close to the couple that we where meeting at the hotel and my request was delt with. The hotel always looks clean and that includes the rooms to a hih standard. The food is good & plentiful. The staff are always helpful & happy to help when asked. We would'nt hesitate to consider going back to this hotel & that is the feeling of the couple we were there with. The hotel is situated about 5 mins walk away from levante beach & a short walk to the night life of levante & the old town but is far enough away so you dont get all the noise of these areas. The Hotel was very clean and well run. The food was below expected for a 4 star hotel. If you're vegetarian you'll be disappointed. We went in December so chose the hotel for the indoor pool,sauna etc. but these were charged extra. Entertainment at this time of year is focused on the older end, but your close to Benidorm nightlife. Quiet hotel for a good nights sleep.

We booked and paid for this hotel as a cheap weekend getaway, we paid £65 per room per night on a full board basis. The hotel was excellent, we would definately stay there again. The food was amazing!!!! The only downside was that we wished that we weren't only there for two nights but for a week. The hotel had very few british tourists there, probably because it is not a lager louty hotel. It was used primarily by quite well to do Spanish older couples. They didn't keep us up at night!!!! We would definately stay there again. Superb!

The staff make this hotel, they were the frienlyest and most aproachble hotelstaff i have ever encounterd. I mean all the stff from the room cleaneres bar, restaurant and reception. i had an enjoyable stay

Enjoyed the stay as part of a large party of single travellers. The buffet meals were varied and good value and the hotel is only a short walk to the beach.The public areas are in keeping with a 4 star hotel but the swimming pool is a little on the small side.My only criticism is that, because we had booked 10 single rooms, the hotel obviously allocates the worst double rooms - ground floor at the rear overlooking car park, with the belief that because you have plenty of space you won't complain. And they were right.

Hotel was very good we were upset that as a 4* we had to pay extra for facilities pool ect. breakfast could be better and tea and coffee available at extra times

The only things that dissapointed me in my stay at the Diplomatic were the rooms were smaller than expected for a 4* and I was disgusted in having to pay 6e to use the indoor pool I would have thought that being a residenbt this would have been covered in my overall payment otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The reception staff especially were the nicest I have come across and it would be nice if you passed on my regards to them

We were very disspointed in the hotel the staff in the bar were rude the resturant was very basic the wine waiter in the restuarent was also very unfriendly the other staff were fine, the cleaning ladies for the rooms were very nice, We did not except to have to pay 9 euros per day to park the car this was not explained to us also that to use the hotel indoor swimming pool and gym would be at a charge of 6 euros for an hour

I had a one bed room acommodation and the toilet facilities are not suitable for a large person .

Chambre commun gebucht, aber erst nach Reklamation 1 Tag spaeter erhalten. Schwimmbad nur gegen Gebuehr von 6 Euro/Person, nicht im Angebot erwaehnt, Garage 6 Euro/Tag nicht in der Preisliste, Minibar im Zimmer ohne Inhalt.

The Christmas supplement was excessive considering the very average Christmas dinner provided. Generally though, the hotel was very clean and comfortable with good service from friendly staff. The evening's entertainment was too repetitive and seemed to be aimed at only the Spanish guests. There were no drink making facilities provided in the room and the food in the restaurant was often cold when served. Would I go again following my complaints? Definitely YES as this was the most comfortable and welcoming Spanish hotel I have stayed in.
