Hotel Villa Carpenada - Belluno

Although the property is a little out of town it was great. Restaurant not open Sunday nights.

The hotel is situated several km outside of the central town area, in a residential area, in its own park. (Although it is reasonably well marked throughout the town, be sure to have good internet maps to help find the property.) The views are wonderful, looking across the valley at the Alps. The hotel is more of a resort style property, given its location and services. The staff was very helpful. The hotel and room were spotless, and spacious. The room had many of extras, such as bath robes, lots of towels, slippers, and large selection of bath products. The public rooms and the bedroom were well decorated. Overall there was a sense of style and calm. The restaurant is excellent. We had a very good dinner in which some of the dishes were particularly well prepared and presented. The breakfast was very good, with an especially large array of items to select from. Overall, our stay was very, very pleasant, relaxing, and good value for the money.
