L'albergo è pulito e ottimamente posizionato. le camere sono un po' piccole e non hanno armadio, ma sono carine. in ogni caso il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. lo consiglio.

We were in Beijing for 4 days and the Beijing Courtel was a great base to see all the city's sights. The taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel as it's down a very quiet street and isn't sign posted but after a phone call to the hotel managed to find it. When we checked in we were shown to a room with two single beds and so asked if there was a room available with a double bed, the receptionist took us straight to another room with a double bed and changed our room card - she was very efficient and we weren't made to feel like we were being awkward! The room itself has a strange layout, when you enter the room the bathroom is right in front of you. There is another door from the bathroom to the bedroom and curtains as well so you can't see from the bedroom and the bathroom and also another thick shower curtain so you can't see the front door when you're in the bathroom. It's a strange layout but so charming! There are only about six bedrooms all placed around an open courtyard and a communal lounge with a big TV and comfy chairs which also doubles as the breakfast room when they put chairs and tables inside and out to serve breakfast. The rooms were cleaned every day and free bottled water is kept behind reception for whenever you need it. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they arranged train tickets for us and a tour to the Great Wall (highly recommended!) at short notice and for a good price! The hotel's location was great, less than five minutes walk to the subway station and there are plenty of restaurants, shops etc in the immediate vicinity. One restaurant that is a must is Ginkgo, it's about a 10 minute walk from the hotel if you turn right when you leave the hotel and right to get onto the main road Andingmennei Dajie. It's a western bar/restaurant that serves delicious homemade food that is really well priced (our meal consisted of two starters, two mains including a steak, two pints and two cocktails and totalled about £30!) It also

This was the BEST Chinese traditional hotel situation I have ever experienced. The staff was excellent and well informed ad HELPFUL. The accommodations were comfortable and clean (and more than expected), and the food was unbelievable. All staff really made our stay amazing and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone.

The hotel is located in a local neighborhood but it is very quite. The room is small and two adjacent rooms share a very small courtyard. The service is good and the breakfast is just so so (mostly Chinese traditional types). It is good for non-Beijing locals to experience traditional HuTong building types.

It´s not a hotel,it´s like a court house. Poor breakfast, bad rooms (the shower was in the middle of the rectangle bathroom)and the room had a wet problem.

The people at the hotel were super friendly and the rooms were very nice. My only comment is that the rooms do not smell very good, but that's a problem mainly with the city sewer system and not the hotel. But, given the price and the location, I would stay there again.
