Excelent base for exploring the hutong area. We loved the hotel, it is basic but it does what is says on the tin and you can save money to spend on going out in Beijing. It is quite central and 10-15 min walk to the underground. The breakfast is expensive for what is offered but we found a good local dumpling restaurant where they did not speak English but pointing was enough! A very pleasant place to stay - we would recomend it.
