This bed and breakfast/hotel was wonderful. The manager and the people working for him were warm, charming, helpful, and though I only spent 2 nights there, I will never forget them. The rooms are spacious, each with an outdoor space overlooking the coast, and the public sitting rooms are huge and comfortable. The restaurant is, in my opinion, one of the best in Spain. The two waiters are professional, efficient, helpful, and indescribably adorable. Hotel Restaurant Galena Mas Comangau is a labour of love, which shows in its every detail.

From Barcelona: on AP-7 freeway, take the exit number 9 (Vidreras/Lloret). Follow signs to Sant Feliu de Guixols, Platja d'Aro and Palamós. Then proceed to Mont-ras and Palafrugell until the Begur village. When you arrive in Begur, follow signs to Aiguablava and Fornells beaches. Two hundred meters ahead you'll find a gas station and next you'll find the hostal (Stone wood house with a big tree).

From Girona International Airport: on N-II road to Barcelona, turn on the left in Llagostera village. Then follow signs towards Sant Feliu de Guixols, next to Platja d´Aro and Palamós. Then proceed to Mont-ras and Palafrugell until the Begur village. When you arrive in Begur, follow signs to Aiguablava and Fornells beaches.
