Hotel Central - Beaune

Fourth visit to Beaune. The hotel stay was a very pleasant experience. Position in the heart of Beaune is fantastic. All sights are within walking distance. Easy and close parking. The hotel can be less suitable for the disabled. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff (did stay easy for a non French-speaking family). Our teenagers much appreciated wireless Internet access.

My general expierience at Hotel Central was a very friendly, competent and helpfull team, especially the waiters of the restaurant "Le Cheval blanche". The occasion for my stay in Beaune was the history of die city and the museums which I visited.

Our first trip to Beaune and not our last based on our fantastic experience at Hotel Central. The staff was absolutely amazing...efficient, welcoming, courteous. the room was spacious, restaurant food was delicious, location was superb. It could not have been better. A perfect example...a taxi was not available to take us to the train station on our departure date so the hotel manager took us in his own car. My rating of the quietness of the room is an 8, only because we were facing the street, but we enjoyed that very much. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again soon.

Hotel was fine given the price of the room and very happy to have a central location. Some earlier reviews referred to noise from the street. We were there on a Thursday and are used to central London - so it seemed quite. Decor needs an update but otherwise very clean and well maintained. Did not use restaurant. Breakfast average.

Location, location, location. The property is really dated. All the furnishings appear to be 30+ years old in both style and condition. However, this is in heart of old Beaune at a reaonable price. I'd look hard at what other options were available before returning here, but might. We kept syaing to ourselves... if only they invested money in some new furnishings,carpet, etc. The condition of the structure, bathrooms, etc was fine. I would definitly not stay in thuis place for more than a couple of nights.

Room was not made up on arrival, but otherwise excellent little hotel, well located and with friendly staff. We would not hesitate to stay there again

Location is great but the hotel is very noisy. Our room's window faced the yard - so did the kitchen's. We could hear every noise from neighbouring rooms (our neighbour snored and then took a phone call at 5 am and kept taking for a while), doors closing, people taking, cars passing by. No air conditioning in the room - there's a floor fan you can put on but it has a timer and goes off every two hours, plus it makes noise. There were no English channels on TV. The only reason for this hotel would be it's location but then Beaune is so tiny - everything is within 5 minute walk.

Excellent location in the heart of Beane. Room was clean, but small and lacked coffee making facility. Use the cafes in the nearby square for excellent breakfast and meals.

Lovely staff - very welcoming and accomodating! Excellent location.

A great location in a great town.
