this is my second visit to this hotel and I also enjoyed my previous stay. the surrounds have been improved . I had dogs with me . there is a superb walk 200 metres away around a beautiful lake and a first class restaurant 100 metres in the other direction.

We had trouble finding the hotel but Tourist Information in Beaune was able to show where it was and gave good directions. We really liked the hotel and staff. It was away from city center but an easy drive to get to. Would certainly recommend to others visiting the area.

Stay here- it is fine, quiet and convenient. The only negative is that it is a motel and you can hear the bathroom next door. .. water running, etc. But this was just a morning/evening thing and there was no conversation noise or tv irritation.

A marvelous little hotel in the country outside Beaune and in striking distance from the great makers of Bourgognes. Individual parking immediately outside one’s hotel room. Uniformly courteous and helpful staff. My wife had a pulled muscle; staff allowed us to place a coldpack in their freezer; they brought it to our room when we had not yet returned in the evening and the kitchen was in danger of closing because they did not want her to be without. Terrific, and indicative. Lovely terrace for breakfasts overlooking seldom-traffiked road in small town. One hundred meters down that road is a restaurant, Le Berger du temps, that staff recommended. Based on past experience, we were a wee bit suspicious of such recommendations, but made a reservation anyway because we had arrived late and were hungry. No suspicion warranted—it was simply marvelous Bourgogne fare served in a fanciful garden. We returned every night thereafter. Would we return to this hotel? In a minute.

There was plenty of parking at the hotel. We were disappointed to have no welcome tray in the room, so no facilty to make a hot drink. The advertised swimming pool was quite small, only really suitable for children. There was a good choice for breakfast, which was self-service so you could have as much as you wished. We MUST recommend a restaurant we found in Beaune -Restaurant Dame Tartine, 3 rue Nicolas Rolin. Food was delicious, and as a couple the bill for the 4 course meal plus drinks came to only 31.30 euros. It reminded me of the late lamented Chelsea Kitchen in London.

Un ottimo albergo per visitare Beaune e dintorni. E` necessaria l'auto per raggiungere Beaune ma nei dintorni c'e` un ottimo ristorante. Spero di tornarci per visitare il resto della Borgogna

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the dining area was clean and bright. Parking was directly outside the room. This was important to us. The room was a reasonable size and clean, with a peaceful and pleasant semi rural outlook. The bathroom was large but basic. A car is essential as the hotel is located out of town. The hotel has a large attractive garden with a small fenced pool.

Rooms VERY small with no place to place items; "bare bones." A jar of face cream vanished while we were there......nice breakfast for what it was; Florence Catalain, or whatever, as pleasant as could be....BUT, at 77 euros (approx. $121 with b'fast) NOT a bargain for overall what you got.

The hotel was very comfortable. The ground floor rooms with french windows were excellent for us as we were travelling with our dog. The hotel staff were very friendly and whilst they can obviously speak very good English, my husband and I particularly liked that they would speak to us in very clear French which we appreciate when we are trying to use and learn the language.

Lovely grounds, very fine facility with an excellent restaurant a short walk on the same street. Breakfast bar was adequate. The location is great, the area is quiet and residential, just outside Beaune and convenient to the city and as a base for area excursions. The written directions to the location are very good, but once on the road to the hotel, the map location is misleading (one must follow the road to the right at the "T" and that is not what the map indicates. We had to go to another hotel to get instructions to this one.

One of our three reserved rooms was not clean enough, the other ones were clean. As the maps from venere.com are bad, we checked the location by googleearth but the information there is completely wrong. It says that the hotel is in center of Beaune and not in a village nearby.

both the room and the bathroom are very clean. The bed is hard but that is to be expected in Europe. It has the same mattress compared to hotels that are twice and three times the price. breakfast was well worth the 7 euros with good and fresh selections. very pleasant breakfast facilite and court yard.

Had difficulty locating the hotel on sat nav - the hotel appears to suffer from more than one address. Our stay would have been a very quiet one had it not been for 2 groups of Dutch people with very loud young children, but maybe this could happen anywhere! A lovely hotel, well situated, very warm welcome, very good facilities. I would stay again. I would certainly revisit le Berger du Temps, a restaurant a couple of minutes from the hotel. Excellent!

The hotel, the staff and the surroundings could not be faulted, in fact I can only remember one other village in the Cotswolds that was clean and pristine as Montagny-les-Beaune. We arrived on Monday and we were unable to find somewhere to eat in the evening, as all the restaurants in the village were closed. We decided to walk into the town of Beaune and found plenty of hotels and restaurants within 2 kilometres. I would certainly recommend this hotel for its location, in fact I have done. There were a mixture of nationalities at the hotel, German, Italian, French and English. The staff were very helpful, even though I cannot speak French, with the exception of a couple of words

Great, calm location in beautiful village just outside Beaune. The welcome is excellent and parking is just outside on the garden property, which include a small but nice swimming pool. Rooms are very clean with nice and newly renovated bathrooms. Furniture are simple but ample and the beds are comfortable. We can recommend the hotel for both an overnight stay (close to highway) or for a vacation in Bourgogne.

Nice location with good access to Beaune. Pleasant welcome. Our quiet double room overlooked lovely countryside. We liked having a private entrance from our room and being able to park our car under the trees. A pretty room but a bit spartan; a chest of drawers for clothes and belongings would have been useful. Nice bathroom with lovely hot water. Dining area too was spartan and lacked atmosphere; the breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. The property is kept immaculately clean. We enjoyed eating dinner at the restaurant across the road.

Everything was well organised, clean and the employees were friendly. The breakfast was fine. Only we reserved two triple-rooms but I could see on the list with roomnumbers that we had two double-rooms (probably they put in an extra bed in each room). I think that for that reason the rooms where not very spacious.

We had a lovely time at Hotel Adelie. It is in a quiet residential area, but still only a few minutes drive from restaurants, ATM, grocery store, etc. The triple room we stayed in was a little on the small side, but still very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. Breakfast was good for the price - we have paid twice that amount in other hotels for exactly the same thing! If we return to Beaune, we will definitely try to stay in Hotel Adelie again.

I was travelling to st Tropez with our dog and needed somewhere convenient mid journey from Calais, Staying at the Adelie was a pleasure and easy to locate with sat nav! and so near to the motorway. When we were delayed on the return journey the staff were very helpful allowing me to postpone to the following day and making arrangements with the key for our late arrival. The local restaurant was fabulous as well.

The location indicated on the website is wrong and needs to be corrected, also informed the hotel about this. Just a comment that if the answers to question 1 an 2 are negatif 3 and 4 dont apply as it is senseless to fill them in.

The Managers and Staff were very efficient and helpful, the accommodation quite adequate. Location was ideal, just a very short drive to the centre of Beaune. The nearby restaurant was simply amazing and always worth going to. The hotel rooms lacked a little imagination and character but otherwise great value for money.

Hotel Adelie is pleasant and comfortable. Despite the weather being very hot, our room was cool and we were able to sleep with the window open. Breakfast was served on the terrace in the morning and that was lovely. Two problems marred our stay. One is the hotel is rather further from Beaune than we thought and the only local restaurant in the village was full so we had to drive to somewhere to eat. Secondly we were overcharged for a glass of wine (charged for a bottle rather than a glass)
