Hotel Le Bayeux - Bayeux

We loved this hotel... centrally located in Normandie and in the darling town of Bayeux. We would definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming and great location - loved that it was walking distance to Bayeux Tapestry, Cathedral, restaurants, markets, shops, cafes - not too far from D-Day beaches - would definitely choose this hotel if returning to this area.

Excellent quiet location, easy walk to points of interest. Great place to stay. Staff were helpful in calling to make a dinner reservation for us as well.

Very practical hotel in central Bayeaux not far from train or town center. Rooms were utilitarian and a bit moldy smelling but otherwise perfect and an excellent value at 55 euro...staff were impossibly nice and accomodating. Wifi was big plus. Good breakfast.

Even for the French, proprietress' attitude was too desultory. She's trying to make a Euro in every way possible. She did not accept my traveller's check. Would not stay here again. The common areas should be made more attractive. Added breakfast to the bill before first asking me.

This was a nice hotel centrally located in a wonderful little medieval city. Easy walk from train station, easy walk to the sites. Buffet breakfast in sunny breakfast room.

Just spent one night in a smaller room. Very comfortable and clean. A good value especially compared to the other hotels in Bayeux.

This is a basic hotel. Our room lacked any charm, but was functional. The room layout was a "telescope" design. Only a five minute walk to all the Bayeux sights.

Very convenient location for arriving vehicles but a bit lax in parking availability. Good info in the lobby for the surrounding area. The village of Bayeux, the heart of which is a short walk from the hotel, is a wonderful place to experience a well preserved village of 'old France'. I'd definitely do it again. Good people.

Bayeux is a small town that is worth a stop over. You will want to see the tapestry and probably visit the cathedral. The Hotel Bayeux is located in central Bayeux, close to both of the cathedral and tapestry museum. The center of the town is quite small and can easily be managed on foot. You therefore just need a decent place to park your gear and spend the night. The Hotel Bayeux certainly does this. I was not in Bayeux to travel out to the Normandy landing beaches, but it certainly a good location for that as well. On arrival I was given a map of the beaches and of the town. I was very pleased with my stay.

The innkeeper was extremely helpful and kind!
