Hotel Serenella - Baveno

Very good place, Near the lake.

No lift so had to carry bags up two levels. Plus not in Baveno but some distance away in Feriolo- so got lost trying to find hotel. Other than that very nice

This Hotel was,we have to say spotless.All bed linen and bathroom towels were changed each day. Do not pay extra or go for the views from the Balcony rooms at the front because of the traffic noise from the main road just under the balcony. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location,but the stay was without a doubt spoilt by the very arrogant and condesending owners son who thought it below himself to assist us as his guests.He was more interested in his outside evening venues which at times caused noise and inability to use the guests car park without first having to ask for cars to be moved. The Hotel is NOT suitable for infirm or guest's with dissabilities as the stairs are steep and there is no lift.Restaurant expensive and slow,when you considder that you can eat at the many lakeside restaurant's less than 5 min walk away for half the price with very good quality food and staff that smile.

Buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo, vicino ai luoghi di interesse piu' belli del Lago Maggiore (da girare in auto), anche se Feriolo ed i dintorni dell'Hotel non sono certamente a livello di Stresa o Baveno. Stanze rumorose per la presenza della SS 33 del Sempione. Ottimo il Ristorante, ma molto caro.

Rooms were big, quite, airy and spacious with air conditioning and very modern. Only stayed two nights sorry did not stay longer, lovely dinner in hotel restaurant. Received a warm welcome on arrival. Near to lake which has a selection of restaurants but can be very busy at night. Feriolo is quiter then nearby stresa with limited ferry access during the day but nice place to stay for a few days with a lovely public beech for relaxing and swimming.

Wir waren für 4 Tage Gäste im Hotel Serenella und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die erste Nacht verbrachten wir in einem nicht allzu schönen Zimmer (noch nicht renoviert), dafür wurden wir jedoch die beiden letzten Nächte durch ein wunderschönes, neu renoviertes und helles Zimmer mit Balkon entschädigt! Der Service ist sehr gut, und alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich! Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Italie, l'accueil en Français nous a beaucoup aidé, la propreté irréprochable, mon ami mesurant 1,95 a aimé le confort de la literie, deux petits bémols: pas de vue sur le lac et le bruit de la rue mais pour avoir changé d'hôtel en cours de séjour, je peux vous dire que c'est génèral étant donné que tous les hôtels longent la route départementale. En conclusion, nous retournerons dans cet hôtel Cathy et Jean-Pierre Rovel

Petit hôtel charmant. accueil sympathique. L'hôtel est situé à Feriolo, à 3 km de Baveno. Le restaurant est d'un très bon niveau. Bonne situation pour la visite des lacs d'Orta et lac Majeur.

Couple with two children (14th and 12th y.o.). The parking is small but you don't have problems in find out a place nearby the hotel. THE RESTAURANT IS GORGEOUS AND NOT SO EXPENSIVE

A lovely and charming place to stay for a quiet week-end. room are clean and new. nice bathroom.

Ottimo albergo.Prezzi modici.Buona accoglienza.Colazione ben fornita.Nessuna sorpresa di pagamenti extra.Consigliatissimo.

Plus restaurant qu'hôtel. Il est bien dommage que l'ensemble soit situé aussi près de la route principale : on subit les bruits incessants de la circulation toute la nuit. Accueil acceptable, sans plus. Repas satisfaisants.

Pictures are tricky. The toilet was dirty. Don't expect a 5 star hotel for that price. In general the hotel is OK. The photos don't correspond to the rooms.

That was a really nice stay, just one point the hotel has a really famous restaurant wich is crowded in the evenings and only one small parking to share.. so if you go out and come back around 9PM it is quite hard to find a parking in the hotel.. Feriolo is a really fantastic place for holidays.

The location isn't in Baveno but in Feriolo(Baveno), a little village before Baveno. It is really difficult going near the lake cos Serenella is located in a road of high speed. To spend a day near the little beach of another hotel at Baveno which belongs to same family. So take your bathing costume!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Serenella Hotel near Stresa on the beautiful shores of Lake Maggiore. The town was a picturesque Italian village complete. We decompressed after a busy week at the I Saloni Milano 2007 furniture show. The rooms were simple and affordable.

We enjoyed our 2 separate nights at Hotel Serenella. We were a little disappointed with breakfast but it was no doubt typical Italian, and was made up for by the evening dinner. We were somewhat surprised that guests were allowed into an unstaffed hotel but felt safe.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We found the proximity to the lake was adequate and the restaurant was of a high standard.

The hotel is in Feriolo, not Baveno and it was only because I read another review, that I knew where to go. The food in the restaurant was superb.

Photos of hotel are misleading,it is by a main road but still very close to the waterfront. The room was ok but fairly basic and requires updating. Staff generally very friendly with one or two exceptions.

Jolie maison, chambre parfaite, propreté irréprochable, sanitaires entièrement neufs, taille idéale pour deux, très silencieuse malgré la route proche. Accueil très agréable, sans convivialité excessive mais sympathique et aimable. Petit déjeuner tout à fait correct dans une petite salle très agréable le matin. Très bon restaurant avec un menu proposé aux occupants de l'hotel. Rapport qualité prix (prix venere) excellent. Cependant : il faudra préciser sur le site que l'hotel se trouve à Feriolo et non pas à Baveno ( d'autant plus qu'il existe une rue au nom semblable dans les deux villes). En tout cas, sans aucun doute je retournerai volontiers à l'hotel Serenella !

We were exceptionally pleased with this hotel...It is a real little oasis. The only problem is that the postal address given in locations and bookings is Baveno but the hotel is in fact in Feriolo which is a further 5 or 6 kilometres up the lake. It did not matter in the end as Feriolo is prettier but it did make for a frustrating half hour on arrival! Fortunately the staff at Serenella were able to rescue us when we phoned for directions!
