Hotel Lido Palace Baveno - Baveno

Great hotel, and excellent and helpful staff, especially Elisa.

We were two married couples traveling together. Upon arrival, the woman at the desk said "Mr.Wilson?" Maybe I just look like a Mr. Wilson? We had reserved rooms with a "garden" view. Upon check-in we were upgraded to two large and lovely rooms with gorgeous lake views. After that, all went very well at the lovely Lido Palace. It deserves every bit of its numrero uno ranking at Lago Maggiore.

The Lido Palace is a lovely hotel with breathtaking views of Laggo Maggiore and the Borromeo Islands. The staff was exceptional-they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Hotel and staff deserve 5 Stars!

Although we arrived very late, the reception was waiting for us. We had the chance of being upgraded to a lake view. The view was really amazing! The room was nice with very high ceiling, the bathroom had a jacuzzi, which was great. We loved our stay at the Lido Palace :) The only think, if any, is that the food was not that great and was more targeted for groups.

We stayed in a quadrupleroom on the 4th floor but there was no balcony. The breakfast was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a beautiful building with beautiful views over looking the lake and islands. Very tranquil. Baveno is a small town with very good restaurants. Not a town for shoppers.

A wonderful stay made more so by the staff especially Roberto and Elena. Excellent facilities, incredible view from front rooms and very friendly atmosphere. Breakfast buffet catered to all tastes. Waiting staff could not do enough for you. Would recommend it very highly. Excellent spot to stay if travelling by car, parking very easy and able to access all other Lake Maggiore attractions either by car or by boat from Baveno.

Un hôtel au charme du début du 20eme siècle mais avec confort moderne, on y rêve d'être une "élégante" belle vue sur le lac Majeur et les iles Borromées, proximité de la ville de Baveno, parking gratuit, diner excellent et pas trop cher 35 euros pour entrée, 1er plat, 2eme plat, fromage et desserts en buffet, café accès internet pour 24h = 10 euros bref un très bel endroit pour passer qqles jours en couple notamment et découvrir le lac majeur
