Excellent position on Lake Maggiore with fabulous views of the lake. Rooms clean but very dated and shabby. Toilet clean but very small and in need of major upgrade. Staff were helpful and friendly. Did not have breakfast after reading reviews and was glad having seen dining room. Not good value for money and although I loved Baveno and Lake Maggiore would not return to the hotel.

As mentioned on their site, I asked the hotel for a room with a view, and they gave me the one room with a little terrace, overlooking Lago Maggiore and the main stretch of Baveno. Wonderful! However, the listing is a little misleading - it says breakfast is included in the price and it is not: an additional 8 Euro. Be aware. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay for the price, and the view is not to be missed.

Slightly dated rooms but clean with friendly staff. Very good position - you can watch the lake steamers come and go!

It is just near the boats, so we left the car at the free public parking (we were lucky there was a place, because later there were no places during the day, be aware), and took boats to islands and back. We've got a room with excellent view to the lake on the 3rd floor. Because of the floor, there was not much warm water.

Baveno on the shores of deep blue Lac Maggorrie is a really quaint, pretty and spotlessly clean town (at least when we were there... a few days AFTER the tourist season was over).... very relaxing stay at Eden....

Hotel in a good position opposite lake. Good welcome and possibility to park car in private courtyard. Room quite large and a good size bathroom with efficient lighting and magnifying mirror (very useful for ladies over 60 who have trouble putting on our make-up!) I was travelling with my son who very much appreciated the situation of the hotel. Only down point, breakfast could have been better - dry bread rolls and not much of a choice on the buffet.

The rooms are a little bit too old. The bed linen should be changed. The proximity with the bell-tower makes the rooms noisy (between 8am and 9.30 pm, the bells sound every half an hour)

The hotel was precsely what I needed for one night. I like the place, nice sightseeing, clean places, enjoyful surroundings.

There's an incredible view if you're facing the main road, but the traffic noise is constant there. It was an ideal spot in Lago Maggiore and I would stay there again, but perhaps in a more spacious/ better room. You get what you pay for. I was satisfied overall, especially with some of the staff.

This was our first time in Hotel Eden. The hotel and rooms are old but clean. The seaview was fantastic. Compared to the price breakfast and dinner were great. Baveno is also a nice place. We would go to Hotel Eden again.

Room was small epecially for 2 persons. Parking offstreet very poor. Street very limited.Owners not too friendly even though I speek Italian. Breakfest not included in the price as quoted originally on the data.An extra cost. I informed Venere and were to make a correction in the information.
