The Radstock Hotel - Radstock, Bath

OMG-the Radstock Hotel ! I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The hosts were friendly and the breakfasts hot and tasty. The room (No. 3) was clean. We had a twin share room and while I had a new looking and comfortable bed, my friend had a new mattress but it was put on a base that was so rotten that the fabric was tearing away in strips from the seams and brown with stains - it was disgusting! The road outside the hotel was noisy with a constant stream of cars passing day and night - take ear plugs!

all people, possibley not with young children though. the people we saw were mostly locals and a couple of other guests

The pub has a lovely atmostphere, the food is totally amazing quality and value. The staff made our stay brilliant, they are so welcoming and informative and we would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. We stayed in a double ensuite room which was spotless and comfortable. Great value.

The room was fine - clean and well furnished and equipped, although a comfortable chair would have been nice. But the traffic noise from an extremely busy road was deafening until a late hour and then again very early in the morning, so I got very little sleep. I would agree with other vistors' comments that you need to allow nearer to 30 minutes to get to the centre of Bath, although it is an easy drive.

owners and staff both very nice helpfull and chatty.would visit again. food lovely nothing too much trouble.place easy to drive to bath and other places.or drive to park and ride and let someone else take you in to bath for 3 pound return.overall our visit to hotel was very enjoyable. forgot to say nice beer garden and seats to front of hotel as well.

Really charming and great hotel with a B&B feel. The staff were helpful and went over and beyond for any questions that we had. The hotel was built in the 1800s in a cute town with that old town vibe. When you walked in, the bar served as the reception area. The gentleman who works there, Allistar, walked us to our room, poured us beer and went out of his way to print a bus schedule for us. We really, really liked him. The room was spacious, clean and had a great view. I think the place is family owned. It certainly had the vibe. The town said it was 10 minutes from Bath, but it was definitely further than that. Aside from that, we loved every minute there!
