Please Note: This hotel is not suitable for children under the age of 7.
It is suitable to drive there as it is not near the city centre. The breakfast room is nice with a good outdoor view of hotel's swimming pool and garage.

Our stay was adequate. The room was a little noisy but the breakfast excellent. It was handy being only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Bath & there was free off street parking.

The hotel's official website(not the venere.com website)stated that this was a luxury hotel and one of the best in Bath. We feel that this is untrue and note that it only has a 2* rating by the AA. It is in fact basically a glorified B&B. The hotel's website also stated it was "in the heart of Bath", it is in fact over a mile down a very steep hill to Bath town centre. We were also disappointed that, after being encouraged by the hotel manager/owner to make use of the jacuzzi (hot bath), we were charged £12 for 1 hour use. Nowhere was this cost displayed or mentioned until we checked out. Another couple checking out the same time as ourselves were equally surprised to be charged for the jacuzzi. All in all a decent stay but could have been much better if the issues raised above had been avoided.

The Wentworth House Hotel has a series of boutique guestrooms including Four Poster Rooms with an antique mahogany four-poster king bed or pine/metal famed four-poster double beds with drapes. Family Quad Rooms for up to 4 persons as well as both Standard Double and Twin Rooms are also available.Decorated in a classic English style, each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower and a good choice of amenities, including tea and coffee making facilities, free wireless internet access, wake-up calls or an alarm clock.
For those of you on a romantic break, the hotel can arrange for champagne or chocolates to be served in your room or flowers delivered.
