Hotel Pietracap - Bastia

The hotel is in a beautiful garden, the sea view is a bit far though. The rooms have pleasant balconies, good sound insulating doors and windows with shutters and air conditioning. The pool area is pleasant. It is overpriced though, but it is true for Corsica in general. The indications to find the hotel are good, once you know in which part of the town to look for them.

A lovely, quiet, well run hotel, that is easy to find from the directions given. We had a great sea view with a private balcony which had a roll down sun blind for shade. The staff were helpful, polite and always smiling. The room was only just big enough but kept very clean. They have a superb outdoor pool surrounded by some lovely trees and plants that give lots of shade if you want it and plenty of sun beds and tables and chairs. I would use this hotel again on a visit to Corsica

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Pietracap verbracht. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Bastia. Die Innenstadt ist aber in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Busverbindung ist leider nicht optimal. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig aber leider durch die Lage etwas dunkel. Das Frühstück war super! Ebenso das aufmerksame Personal. Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert.

The hotel is very nice, but definitely over priced.

Nice hotel for the guests travelling by car. Guests without cars must be ready for the expensive taxi service in Bastia area (from/to airport Euro 60-50 per trip). Hotel has excellent territory with good swimming pool and surrounding area full of olive trees and flowers. Hotel built in modern style and has own picture gallery. Size of room and view depended of type of room rented. I would recommend the room with separate entrance right from the garden.
