Hotel Alla Favorita - Bassano del Grappa

This is a wonderful stay, overall my scores of 9/10 are well deserved. The scores of 7 are based solely on the questions. It seems to me that this is primarily a resturant first with the hotel as a secondary function. As such there really are not many public areas. It's a wee bit noisy in the evenings, from the resturant patrons. But this is a very popular place with the locals. Which seems to me, would make this a great place to hang out in the evenings and knock back a shot or two of Grappa with the locals. It's a bit of a hike ~30 minutes, w/luggage from the train station, but not unmanageable. The nice thing about being away from the center of town is that you get to feel and see how the local lives as you walk to and from the historical center. The staff was great, especially the evening manager Roberto, a great bear of a man, whose deep bass voice is very warm and welcoming. He's a great host and very helpful in explaining the menu. Everyone I met at the Alla Favarita was friendly and helpful, yes this was worth the stay!

I was impressed for the kindness of the reception officer, she was very kind and professional, I arrived in the middle of the night (cause snow) and she immediately woke up to let me enter and accomodate. I would thank you for having suggested a very good hotel.

If travelling by gps mention contra and not via, otherwise you reach a garden center. Very nice surroundings. Spacious parking facilities.

Very simple hotel, with very nice staff. Good located to visit Bassena. And the restaurant is pleasant. It is not a 4 * hotel, it is actually more a restaurant, but you can stay one or two days and visit Bassena in a nice way.

Hotel was difficult to find in the dark. The name of the hotel is only on the building. The very good restaurant needed reservations because it fills with locals.

Not a very exciting place to stay, although convenient and reasonable value for money. It's a large pizza restaurant with rooms above. Helpful and friendly staff. ediocre room. Poor breakfast. Reasonable relation to town (1km walk to centre) which is very pleasant. Quiet surroundings, though the night that we were there there was a noisy party in the house opposite

Nice hotel with a very kind staff! Location is outside the center of Bassano but not far. It was good to stay one night during our travel from Venice to the north of Italia. Remark : Only one employee speaks english.
