Pleasant Hotel. Early Breakfast ....was poor but.. available nice Hotel in every way Peter Christian Kerkhof Hotel Manager & Hotel Consulting Switzerland

Excellent location both for the airport and city. Tourist tickets for trams and buses a big plus. Mohammed and Judith both gave first class service eg. minibus and baggage and reception. We will return.

It was disappointing to not have tea/coffee facilities available in room. (or a fridge) The price for a tea or coffee, which had to be made by yourself, in the lounge downstairs was 5.50 Euros each. Thought this was extremely excessive and felt if not supplied in the room should have been free! Should be listed on their advertising that this is the case so people are prepared.

The mobility pass provided by the hotel, made tourist interest points easily accessible. The bus system was easy to use and very efficient.

I stayed there on a sunday evening on my way to italy. very nice hotel! underestimated if it only has 3 stars (i think it would qualify for 4 considering the level of many other 4 star hotels around). even though it aims mostly at business kinda clientele, it is a nice hotel also for a stay as a tourist, considering the good price versus the quality of the place. pluses: - clean, spacious, quiet, the room looked like it was on the website (or even nicer) - great thing with the free private underground parking with direct access to the hotel/casino - big flat screen tv in the room - nice bathroom with spacious walk-in shower - professional staff - nice bar downstairs open 24h and nice "loungy" atmosphere - you get free public transportation coupon for your entire stay in basel, and as far as i know the city center is very very close (i only stayed one night) - free drink at the casino (but just a prosecco, no fancy cocktails) - i think you also get free usage of fitness facilities in the hotel minus: - your card gets charged 200 CHF as a deposit without anybody telling you (unless you find out yourself) - the free wireless internet connection lets you connect to the network but then internet doesn't work, so if you wanna go online i guess you have to pay for the usage of the ethernet cable connection

Nice surprise when I checked in as I was upgraded into a huge double room! The room was very spacious yet cosy, spotless and totally soundproof. The bathroom was a treat in itself with spacious shower and a tub sized like s swimming pool. Didn't get the opportunity to taste the breakfast as I had to leave very early to catch my plane. Will definitively come again§

Wireless internet was not working. Drink machines on most floors not working. Buffet breakfast was cold (were meant to be hot dishes)
