Hotel Rondò - Bari

The hotel was quote nice and upgraded me to a larger room with kitchen. The area is not attractive, nor is the city as a whole a magnet for future visits.

It was the first time when I stay at this hotel and i was surprised to obtain more then i expected. The rooms are spacious and clean. The placement is excellent for tourists in transit to the airport because is very close to highway but far by the city centre (20 minutes by bus). Not to many intreats around hotel.

It is a correct place if you arrive by plane. It is very close and eassy to get by from the highway. The only the disadvantage is that is not close to the old city center

Single in a double room. The surroundings are neither beautiful or ugly. For guests without a CAR: 200 mt from the hotel bus stop with frrequent buses to' the city ( Murat and Barivecchia)

It`s in a very good location just about 15 mins from center with bus no 4 just in front of the hotel or about 35 mins walking distantce easy excess from the airport .

We were finding it very difficult to find cheap, good accomodation in Bari and eventually picked the Rondo, more out of exhaustion from the search than out of any real preference. The hotel is alright - the rooms are massive, and contain a kind of kitchenette, which we didn't take advantage of. The problem is that the hotel is miles away from the old city. There are buses which are reasonably frequent, and the bus stop is quite nearby but the bus service stops running at around 9 or 10 in the evening. Due to the distance from the Rondo to the old city, where we spent most of our time, it is too much hassle to return to the hotel if you forget something or if you just want to freshen up before dinner - basically, you would need to walk to the bus stop, wait for a bus, travel for about half an hour, then repeat to come back...as a result, it is really not very convenient. One evening, when we wanted to return after the bus had stopped, we searched everywhere for a cab, but couldn't find one and ended up walking. The route from the old city to the hotel is not great - badly lit and we didn't really feel particularly safe. I would strongly reccomend a different hotel closer to the city centre.

Stayed here after late arrival into Bari airport, easy to find, quiet, no bar/restaurant open n Sunday night but directed by staff to nearby pizzeria. V large room with kitchenette, perfect for baby.

Excellent hotel. Manager and desk staff most welcoming. Rooms huge. Much needed Airconditioning was excellent. Breakfast was good but needed topping up because they seemed to run out of bread rolls and fruit before many people had come down for breakfast ! Would certainly use the hotel again.

Un hotel eccellente, purtroppo un pò rumoroso e lontano dal centro, ma per chi ha la macchina non è un problema. Stanze enormi...davvero belle.

Excellent hotel for the relationship between price/quality.

+ Very kind employees and very large rooms. + Quiet area and easy to reach by car. - Waste of space in room. It could be an idea to improve room usage, i.e. a separate desk for work with electric plug, modem etc). My room was huge but TV, phone, lamp, all was on a minidesk. - Nothing to see nearby - Unbalanced price/quality rate: in my opinion it's too expensive. At the same price you can have more elsewhere. If you don't know where to have a good value food, try "Al gusto antico" on the same road just 200m far(you can ask to front desk)

Room too cold when we arrived. All night with the heater on but on next morning still too cold.

Great hotel in a great city. The room was the most spacious I could find for this price range throughout Italy. Really a pleasant surprise.

The room had a small kitchen inside - useful for long stays. There was a narrow selection of choices in the minibar

This hotel is pretty close to the ring-road, and is very easy to access if you are driving. It is not far to drive to the city centre if you wish to visit. I was extremely pleased with the size of the room, which included an open plan sitting room & small kitchen, with huge windows and full size electric screen on them. Overall a very pleasant place to stay whilst in transit, as we were. Less than half an hour from picking up our hire car at the airport, we were checked in here for the night, and ready for a good start to our tour the next day

The Rondo is great and so are the people of Bari! We were given a room on the top floor with a roof toop garden, great for belting out Scotland songs!

It's easy to find the hotel. The room was well cleaned and spacious. Excellent price/quality rate. Car park inside the hotel.
