Hotel Barion - Torre a Mare, Bari

Good place to stay if you're working in the area. Breakfast on the 6th floor terrace is great. lots of homemade cakes and marmalades. Would stay there again for work.

Clean, pleasant hotel, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Lovely breakfast on 6th floor with a view of the sea. Need to have access to a car if staying there.

It was fine for an overnight stay when arriving late into Puglia - I doubt I'd want to stay for many days in a hotel of this nature for a vacation

Overall a good hotel with a splendid view on the sea. The breakfast buffet was average. The waiter, however very friendly. Why don`t people at the reception desk speak some decent English?

Nice and clean hotel, easy to find. The motorway SS16 is just in front but no noise. 20 km east of Bari, that's well located if you visit, by car, the Trulli, castellana grotta, Alberobello, Bari . The Breakfast buffet is excellent, with many cakes, fruits, bread. Parking is free, locked and large. The only strange point is that the reception of this hotel for business men can only talk to you in Italian.

We felt this was a hotel for a business traveller. It is ok for an overnight stop but is not an ideal holiday hotel. The hotel is actually on the motorway, but our room also had a view of the sea so it wasn't just cars that we saw. It was clean and everyone was pleasant, although we had a few language problems. Not all the quoted services are available, eg the shuttle minibus, which meant we paid 30 euros each way for a taxi into Bari. The food in the restaurant was excellent, both breakfast and dinner.

Not much from the outside, but a spectacular hotel once you walk through the door. Easy access to Bari, Fasano. Outstanding little restaurant. We'd definitely stay again.
