I travelled to the Hotel Parc Germano Suites with my boyfriend for a week long stay. We booked a suite, which was absolutely wonderful. Very spacious, modern furnishings and a calming neutral colourscheme. The complex is delightful and when all the building work is complete it will be more beautiful. It is just a short walk to the lake and the beautiful promenade that will take you into the centre of Bardolino. On arrival we were taken to our room in a golf buggy by a very polite night porter.(as we arrived late). Our first morning started with us having breakfast on the terrace. The view was amazing and it was a petty the waitress was the complete opposite!! Now! I read all the negative reviews about SOME of the staff thinking they were far more important than the guests however nothing prepared me for HER!! She was rude, arrogant and clearly in the wrong business. Bearing in mind this being June isn't even high season. Wouldn't like to see her in July/August!! It was as though she purposely ignored any request we made eg: one morning there was a power failure and she made it perfectly clear there were no hot dishes being served!! I thought this strange as a big modern hotel surely cooks with gas?? Anyhow, we were just about to have cereals when hey presto!! Other guests were being served omelette, eggs and bacon etc!!When I asked her about this she stamped off into the kitchen! I assumed she was ordering our eggs but no!! 20 mins later I had to ask another member of staff for our breakfast!! They weren't even busy!! I do not find this acceptable behaviour especially when we paid good money for our stay! I do hope the HIGHER management recognise this isn't good, we were made to feel very unwelcome by her and this is a shame as she is letting her work collegues down!! It is as though they had just opened this hotel and had been finding it difficult to staff. That said, it isn't fair to tar everybody with the same brush as most of the employees were polite and friend

The hotel was not corporate. We checked out one day earlier and we payed the full price. This was not good!!!
