Hotel Vela d'Oro - Cisano, Bardolino

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Also good parking place with automatic gate. Swimming pool area was nice and clean with friendly staff. Traffic noise bothered a little but when you closed window covers, it was peaceful to sleep.

A very good hotel, well run and in a good location - it ajoins the main promanade which runs north/south - north to Bardolino. Bardolino is a 2k walk - good to walk up an apetite, or to walk off a superb dinner in Bardolino. Greatful for hotel parking facility.

We habe been in Cisano the first time. Vela dòro has a good standard. Staff and personal are very friendly and competent

Hotel and staff fine, v quiet area, dont expect a party,

The carpet was very dirty and crusty. The room was tiny and the hallway had a foul odor. It is about a mile down the coast from the main part of Bardolino. The parking was safe and secure. The staff were friendly.

Room was a little on the small size compared to other hotel rooms in italy that I have stayed at. I paid extra for a room with a view of Lake Garda, however it was a side room so my view was of the hotel carpark and main road. I could see the lake if i hung over the balcony (I did ask for a room change with a better view, but nothing ws available, although there was no one staying in the few rooms in front of us?) The swimming pool is actually in a small park a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Also there is a church across the road that chimes on the hour and half hour which was a little annoying. However the staff were friendly and view when standing at the front of the hotel was pleasing. Bardalino is a 40 minute walk along the front.

Area around hotel was very nice with a good selection of reasonably prices reasturants, small beach areas and nice prom. Pool area and sun terrace lovely. Road on road side noisey into early hours and not over big.

Using a cap in the swiming pool is old and not necessarily.

We, a family of 4 (2 children aged 15 and 10) stayed here July 17th-23rd 2005. Excellent friendly service good rooms,adjoining,both with air-conditioning.Beautiful views of the lake with 4/5 good restaraunts at the port. Swimming pool nearby very busy at weekends but quiet rest of time.Bus service outside hotel.

For a 3-star hotel there is a lack of standing. Next to the hotel there is a bar that can be very noisy until very late at night. The pool is about 100 metrs from the hotel and seems to be a public pool.For the same price -or less- I can easily find better accomodation.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location, withsecure private parking. The reception staff were charming, in fact allthe staff were most competent and welcoming. This is about the best value hotel value that as a family of three I have come across, and we certainly intend to stay there again
