The hotel is pleasant and comfortable, if a little dated, with a nice bar and pool area. The room was small (also had a shower instead of a bath) but was comfortable and had a terrace facing the lake. It's a pleasant walk into Bardolino which is a pretty with plenty of shops and restaurants but quite 'touristy'. However, the main issue for us was that we appeared to be the youngest guests by a number of years! I suspect it's the same in all hotels in the area but I think the hotel would be more appropriate for the older couples we saw, most of whom appeared to be staying half-board (as we saw them order their dinners over breakfast...).

How to reach Hotel Nettuno

By car
From the A22 highway, take the Affi exit, direction Bardolino. Once in the centre of Bardolino, turn right at the roundabout and drive for about 200 meters/0.1 miles. Turn left immediately after the Romanic Church on your left. You will find Hotel Nettuno on the left hand side.

From the A4 highway, take the Peschiera del Garda exit, direction Garda. Once in Bardolino, at the two roundabouts go straight on and after about 200 meters/0.1 miles turn left after the small Romanic Church on your left. You will find Hotel Nettuno on your left hand side.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
