Hotel Gardenia & Villa Charme - Bardolino

Its a very nice hotel. The stuff is absolutly friendly, There are no wishes open.

The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast is fine.

In my opinion best value for your money. This time is was my 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel.

Breakfast was perfect, but I had a room in the second house and there was in front a street with really much traffic. My room was next door to the entrance and therefore I heard every person come in from the garden door and then the house door.

The hotel is very nice and well run. The staff members are particularly friendly and helpful. The location is close enough to Bardolino to be able to walk to the town (about 15 minutes), via a lake-side path.

The rooms and everything and anyone at hotell Gardenia, are excellent!They are very friendly and helpful.We will come back!

Stayed: 4 days in Bardolino

An excellant place to stay for visiting Lake Garda. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Easy to walk into Bardolino along the Lake front where there are plenty of wonderful restaurants and shopping as well as being able to take the ferry boats to other parts of Lake Garda.

Stayed in Gardenia, the hotel part. Unfamiliarity with the pricing structure in the area possibly accounts for the 8 rating. For us,both walkers, with the 10-15 minute walk to and from Bardolino the location was perfect. The welcome and friendliness of staff and management was tremendous. Found restaurant 'Don Pedro' on last night hidden in Bardolino backstreet - excellent taste/quality food and range of 6 set menus priced €17-25.

Nice Hotel, quiet'ish location, great staff. Overall a very enjoyable holiday.

This is a place you come back to again and again!That is because of the fantastic staff,from the "bottom" to the top!It is clean,the service is excellent!

If Lake Garda is the Crown of italy hotel Gardenia & Villa Charme and Bardolina are the jewels. The hotel is top notch for the price, the management and staff speak excellent english and german, are friendly and very helpful. The 3 brothers who own the hotel are all charming, they try and do everything instantly for you. The hotel is 12 minutes walk from Bardolina, but what a pleasent walk it is along the lake, in a well lighted pathway. Bardolina is beautiful, and there are so many beautiful villages within a 3 to 10 mile radius of the village you are really spoilt for choice. My wife and myself had 5 of the most relaxing days of our life in October, and we saw so many beautiful places we were taken aback with the charm of the area and the people. We hope to go back in the summer with our 13 year old daughter. In October the weather was 70-75 degrees every day. Beleive me this place is excellent for location, Venice is less than 90 minutes drive away and well worth a visit.

Äußerst zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Superior Room war etwas klein. Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte war nicht erwünscht. Wir haben dann bar bezahlt.

Although the hotel is not in the centre of town it has a very good location. Fairly quiet and close to the lake. It is a nice walk into the town centre by the lake.

Very friendly staff, very welcoming. Scrupulously clean, lovely room. Would definately return. First time stay.

From start to finish, our stay at Hotel Gardenia & Villa Charme was brilliant. The staff were fantastic, always bright and cheery. The hotel itself is pleasing to the eye and immaculate. The grounds are kept to a very high standard. Cannot wait for a return visit.

FANTASTIC HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION.BRILLIANT VIEWS OVER THE LAKE. STAFF REALLY FRIENDLY AND VERY EFFICIENT. GREAT PIZZA RESTAURANT JUST OVER THE ROAD. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL.

Unseren ersten Aufenthalt im Hotel Gardenia haben wir sehr genossen. Der Service im Hotel ist außerordentlich gut und besonders das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen: Verschiedene Brotsorten, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Honig, Eier nach Wunsch, süßes Gebäck, Müsli, frisches Obst ... und nicht zuletzt sogar Prosecco! Was will man mehr!! Obwohl das Hotel nicht so zentral liegt, wie wir angenommen hatten, würden wir es in jedem Fall uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!

Our stay here was superb from the word go. Friendly and helpful staff make this place feel special. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered excellent choice and was available until 11am. It is set in a quiet residential area just back from the main coastal road - despite its proximity it is quiet and tranquil. The lake is about 2 minutes walk away and you can walk into Bardolino by the lake in about 10-15 minutes. There are a couple of restaurants 5 minutes walk away otherwise Bardolino offers a variety of different places to eat and drink. I couldn't recommend this place more. Can't wait to go back.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel! Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für Italien sehr üppig - das beste was wir je gesehen haben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Gut ist auch die Lage des Hotels in der 2. Reihe: es ist sehr ruhig und man ist dennoch in 100 m an der Seepromenade. Nach Bardolino Zentrum sind es ca. 7-8 Minuten zu Fuß auf dem schönen Seeuferweg. Für den Gardasee ist das Hotel absolut Top, aber auch für den Zwischenstop bei einer längeren Fahrt in den Süden. Die Realität ist viel schöner als die Bilder im Internet dies zeigen können. In jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert.

We had a great time here, mainly because we had been travelling around in city's, so it was nice to come to a place so we could relax and do nothing. This hotel allows you to chill out by the pool and enjoy the sun. The rooms was nice and clean and very yeloow, it was not as big as i thought it would be but we had a great view of the mountians so we cant complain.

The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. All in all a great choice. Hotel not in the centre of Bardolino but close (which is probably a bonus as it was quiet)and a lovely walk along the lake make it a good choice especially in the tourist season.

Excellent hotel - very welcoming and accomodating management

Tout ce que l'on recherche d'un hotel, propre, bon prix, déjeuner super avec les gens les plus acceuillant de l'Italie. Calme et a 15 minutes a pied du centre ville. La seule petite contrainte il n'accepte pas les cartes de crédit. je vous le recommande.

A real gem. The staff were WONDERFUL! Very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, good surroundings, comfy beds and pleasant rooms. A little walk into the centre of Bardolino, but largely by the lake, so a pleasant walk.

This is a wonderful hotel, very close to the downtown area of Bardolino. The rooms in the new building of the hotel were quite nice with a balcony and a comfortable bed. During the Vinitaly fair, this is a good choice out-of-the-way and only 35 minute drive to the Verona Fiere.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel is excellent,the staff very friendly and we had a great room with a balcony with views over the lake. Free parking outside the hotel for our hire car. Hotel not in town centre but its a pleasant walk to get there, mostly along the lakeside. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

We found the hotel an ideal place to relax and to chill, out, and not to far from the town . Very friendly and courteous staff.Fantastic breakfast good quality and quantity. We would recomend it as a place to stay whilst visiting other towns around the lake , as it only 1hrs drive from the Airport

Das familiär geführte Hotel war absolut spitze und kann nur weiterempfohlen werden. Das sehr kinder- und babyfreundliche Personal hat uns gleich bei unserer Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen.

A very nice friendly and clean hotel. The hotel is situated extremely close to Lake Garda and is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the centre of Bardolino. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, particularly the massages and jacuzzi. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and will make you feel very special. Car Parking for the hotel is quite limited but there is plenty of street parking available. The hotel is easy to find and is sign posted as soon as you reach Bardolino. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes drive from Verona airport along the toll motorway.

My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of the room. It was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was another real treat. It offered a variety of foods appealing to most any pallet. Having stayed in other 3 star hotels on this trip, we concluded that not all 3 star hotels are created equal. This hotel was excellent value for money spent.

The member of staff on duty when we arrived at 9pm was very helpful,welcoming and friendly.The room was clean,breakfast good and all staff very pleasant.

We spent 5 nights in the Villa. The stay was very pleasant with a lovely secluded swimming-pool immediately adjacent to the room. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very close to Lake Garda and about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Bardolino, a small, delightful town with some excellent restaurants. I would happily stay in this hotel again.

Fine hotel, nice people. Very rich and tasty breakfast. Plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood.
