Sallés Hotel Pere IV - Barcelona

Poor customer service. Skeletal staff. No concierge. Additional charge for everything. If you know the area, probably not a bad place place to stay, if first time in Barcelona, don't expect any help from the staff, they point you to the subway and that's about it. Request an extra room key, you need it to operate the electricity, and it will be removed while you are gone, so your room will have to cool off once you get back.

Do not book this hotel!

General experience was good and personel friendly. However, it is not close to Conference centre, you need to take the subway and walk for 5-10 min

We were very happy with our stay at the Pere IV. The hotel met our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, very knowledable too. The mini fridge in the room was a nice bonus. It had 3 complimentary soft drinks and 2 comp. bottles of water. The room also had a blackout curtain which was nice since we rarley went to bed before 1:00 am. We never had the breakfast at the hotel because you can find several local restraurants that you can eat breakfast for 1.90-2.75E a person. They also had a very nice pool, hot tub & saunas including a vapor sauna that was very nice at no extra charge. We only took advantage of the pool area once due to trying to fit in all our sight seeing but we would have enjoyed using it more. Our room also had a very nice balcony with a view of La Sagrada Familia. My only negative comment is I thought the towels seemed old & thin for a 4 star hotel. But overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was somewhat overpriced, but very good indeed.

Very nice hotel, quite good position cause underground is near but it's close after midnight so you need a taxi or to walk about 1 hout from centretown that is Ramblas. But the hotel is very good.

Everything was fine, the only negative aspect is the ramp to the car parking that is really narrow.

It was a very good hotel. the staff were keen to help at all times. the only thing that spoiled the hotel was the surroundings. there is a pub next door and the people that go there were really dodgy. I was with my girlfriend and to be honest I wouldn't walk past the pub after midnight cause all the people going there were standing drunk on the pavement. there is nothing to see next to the hotel, only warehouses and garages but the sea is only a 10 minute walk. overall it was an enjoyable stay. the only thing that will hold me back from staying there again is the location as i said before. the price however was indeed very good. For someone who doesn't care about the surroundings I would definetely recommend this hotel

This is the second time we have stayed in hotel and would go back again, the only thing this time breakfast was not included with price and I think the price the hotel were asking to buy breakfast was a bit pricey. Other than that it was a excelent stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

This hotel is located in what appears to be a relatively poorer part of town, east of the old city. However, transport links are excellent and there is a metro station (Bogatell) just 5 minutes walk from the front door. Staff are very helpful, speak English and are efficient. The room we got was clean, large and comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced, but that could have been because we were there in the winter. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

It makes too much noise when women cleaned the other room during the morning. They should have shoes that don't hit the floor and be careful when they move furnitures and hit things with the vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, rooms were quiet and we were not disturb with other customers noise or outside noise.Rooms are beautiful in blue and yellow.

A very friendly greeting on arrival. Thank you. Close to the metro and the city centre. Free use of the swimming spool and gym. All in all a nice hotel, but surroundings could be a better. We would stay there again.

We had no complaints at all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. no regrets at all . the hotel is close to the metro and only 300 metres from the beach.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was 10 Euro extra but well worth it - very good selection. Pool was very small, cold and didn't look too clean. Our room was at the back of the hotel and despite being on the 7th floor was cery noisy on Friday and Saturday nights due to the 2 discos across the road. The noise of people on the street went on into the early hours and really took away from our stay. Ask for a room at the front of the hotel. The hotel is situated near the Bogatell metro line which is very handy as the hotel is situated in a fairly run-down part of town with nothing of interest to see.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Purtroppo si pagano sia la colazione ( ottima ) sia il garage.
