Good Location if you don't want to be right in the centre. proximity to the Gran Via/Plaza Espanya means its a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. Overall a good modern hotel.

Quite modern and fabulous hotel except two things. One is that there was no door for the toilet, which was very embarrasing. The other is that it is a little noisy because of the TV sound from next room. Generally perfect and fashionable.

Everything was excellent. Only that the air condition was too hot!

It was very cool, a real experience and very professional but it lacked a little warmth. The sort of place where it is great to have visited and we will always remember its stunning building but probably once was enough.

A very nice location and an excellent service provided. Just an omission to stress, there were works in front of the hotel (the bullring), but it wasn't so noisy and the insulation was very good.

Excellent hotel away from the Ramblas but great metro system nearby. Definitely gay friendly!!

Very nice hotel: excellent location, beautiful rooms (even if quite hot, in spring -- don't know if air conditioning is available, but I think so). Not a very cheap staying, but worth of the money if you want to enjoy the city. The pool on the roof is amazing, quite a distinction mark.

Everything was excellent. Really ! ... except maybe surroundings - there were reconstruction works right before the hotel (Torres Arena) Highly recommended for everyone except families with young children.

Many specially designed details in the bath-room and conserning light etc. We enjoyed finding out how everything worked. The hotel's location in Barcelona was nearly perfect for us. Montjuic is very nice.We could also enjoy the pool on the roof with its wiev to Placa d'Espanya.

I liked this hotel very much. It was clean and quiet. The tv had an english news channel. I understand from the staff that it will have a mini gym in autumn 2006.

Unusual hotel design, interesting but on balance its a bit "cool" - not a warm inviting design. Still staff competent and hotel clean (wash basins tend to get flooded due to design). Hotel not on the main tourist area but this is a nice advantage, tube/subway is close by and easy to use. Location allows you to "meet" real local Barcaloneans, for breakfast (and dinner) use one of the many nearby cafes, all very good - with genuine tapas. Barcelona is a great city.

Me and my husband stayed at the B hotel for 5 day's. The day's had been split up during our trip, so we had two different rooms. The first room was much nicer than the second. The second room had been "used" a bit and had stains on the counter's and the safe didn't work. They said it was going to be repaired but no one ever fixed it. However, the rooms are clean and modern with cool lights and a Scandinavian decor. The staff speaks English and there is free internet in the lobby. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is that the cleaning staff will inter your room even if you put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door. The area is fine. It isn't real close to La Rambla but the subway and bus system is very competent. We would stay again.

A really great hotel in a very accessible spot. Rooms are really well presented, as is the public areas in the hotel. The hotel could do with providing a guide to the lighting/shower room blinds! Figured it out eventually. Talking to the staff, they are getting very busy in the run up to summer and have almost no rooms left for the forseeable. One caveat - the food in the hotel is poor, and overpriced, so eat elsewhere. Get the metro to catalunya for loads of resteraunts. Recommended, especially at around 100 euro.

Highly recommended. Great location (go for the tourist bus pass as another reviewer recommended), nice and quiet when we were there, all facilities, fantastic pool, helpful staff, good value. But breakfast is exorbitant - go up the Gran Via for a cafe and the supermarket. Gran Via buses take you straight into town for pennies, and the Aerobus stops right on the Plaza. Had a fantastic stay.

The only problem that I have had has been with the shower. The water exited from the bathtub and bathed the pavement of the room
