The room is quiet small, with no chair on which to sit. there was an outside balcony, for breakfast, but (to my knowledge), not available at other times. The bar was closed on Sun night, and the staff would not serve us a drink. The rooms were very clean, and the staff which we encountered were generally friendly.

This was our first stay at the hotel and the were many positive surprises. The cleanliness, the efficient and helpful staff, the quiet rooms. The breakfast was very good and the little restaurant served a small but fine menu in the evening. It's hard to find anything to complain about, but the area is not the most exciting in Barcelona, and it was a little hard to find a good restaurant close to the hotel and it's a little far from the center. On the other hand the taxis in Barcelona are very cheap, so it wasn't really a problem. We (my wife, daughter and me) would probably choose it again.

It's a nice hotel in the Eixample area of Barcelona. The cleanliness of rooms is very good as well as spaciousness and quietness. Four stars hotel is properly rated. Unfortunately there are no single rooms so if you are single you must reserve one double room in any case. The nearest underground station is 'Hospital-Clinic' on the blue line. It's 5 minutes walking from the hotel. If you want to go to the centre of Barcelona (Ramblas, plaza Catalunya) you can change the blue line with the red one or get bus going to the centre (the stop is about 300 metres from the hotel). However, with 15/20 minutes you could stay in the centre of Barcelona. The Eixample is a good area in Barcelona full of markets (it's city's financial area). 10 minutes walking from the hotel there is Avinguda Diagonal, one of the main streets of Barcelona.

Hotel Zenit Borrell is a modern smallish hotel with its own parking garage. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Rambla, the major pedestrian mall with restaurants, bars, shopping etc. The rooms are smallish altho the bathroom is a reasonable size and well equipped. Good buffet breakfast.

We would rate it as average 3* hotel, couldn't compare it with other 4* hotels we have stayed in other countries. Things we didn't like - the room was VERY small, the restaurant staff unfriendly to the guests, the window was with view to the opposite wall of the building. Things that were OK - reception staff was nice, the location was OK - the city center can be reached in 15 min by foot, the price (125 EUR per night incl. breakfast) comparing with overall hotel prices in Barcelona was OK. Our special discovery close to Hotel Zenit Borrell (approx. 5 blocks from the hotel )was very nice, quiet, romantic restaurant named El Petit Travi on Mallorca 202! We definitely would suggest it!

Beautiful room but rather small. Cleaness exellent. Exellent breakfast. We do'nt recommend the Restaurant Dinner. Food is no good and the staff are not quallified. In a 4 star restaurant, you ought to have waiters who speak english.

Nessun problema particolare. Perfetto per il prezzo. Unico appunto: i muri piuttosto "sottili", si sente quello che accade nelle stanze vicine. Nel complesso, lo consiglio !

Very economically priced, perhaps due to the not-particularly desirable location. However, the room was the most modern in design of any hotel we stayed--very attractive and interesting. It was a relief to our budget to find this hotel, and it served our puposes well. However, the taxi cab called by the hotel overcharged us.

To be honest we didn't spend much time at the hotel. Basically we just had breakfast and showered and slept at night. The breakfast was adequate and the cafeteria is nice. The bathroom room is clean and modern and supplies of soap, towels and toilet paper are replenished daily. The rooms are totally sound proof. We had a problem with the a/c which was amking a lot of noise, but the receptionist fixed it for us. The receptionists are helpful and polite, particularly the night receptionist.

Very good. The welcoming and the quality of services was simply perfectly. The employers where very competent and very friendly. The room was very nice and quite, but i was expected to be bigger. However, it was one of the best rooms i was in a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was awesome! 11€ but i think it's a good price due to de amount and the varsity of food, drinks, etc. TOTAL: 9

Looks cheaper than it really is, they tend to add on the euro whenever they can, eg expensive parking, some items on the "fixed price" menu, etc. Wi-fi outrageously expensive, but cheap internet cafe close by. In general, a solid, clean 3-4 star hotel. Parking for 6 tiny cars but you'd be insane to try to drive in Barcelona (roads alternately one-way in opposite directions, awful signage). Hotel itself fine, very new. In a residential part of town, just about walkeable to Gaudi places, everywhere else neds a taxi (which are plentiful and cheap).

This place is out of the way to las ramblas and that part of town at least a 30 minute walk. for that price i should have booked something closer. it is a business hotel, trying to cater to leisure travellers. Very inefecient check in/out system. One gal at the desk, 3 people waiting in line, the printer ran of ink, the electrician cut power to all terminals, all while I was in line. The room was nice and clean a bit on the small side although the bath was a nice size. Breakfast was nice with the regular items. when i return to barcelona i probably will not stay here because of its location.
