Very good hotel for the price. Even that it is not nearby the old town, the subway is only two blocks from the hotel. There is a shopping mall very close to the hotel.

The hotel is located in a very modern part of the city with beautiful designed flats and parks, near the beach and a high quality shopping centre. The interior design of the hotel, the rooms and the bathrooms is very modern and classy. The beds are really good! The windows could be opened, that is nice if you want to avoid the airconditioning.Slight minor point at the breakfast, I missed the availability of different fresh fruits as promoted on the photographs. By metro you are in 15 minutes at Barcelonetta or the Olympic village.

I can recommend the hotel without restriction of any kind. What I missed - compared to other hotels - was free access to the internet from the rooms (either payment or prepay-service was required). I will definitely come back if I visit Barcelona again.

Lovely, modern hotel, very nice rooms, and lovely quiet location near to shops, beach and metro. Just one complaint: I booked 2 rooms for myself, husband and 2 teenage children and e-mailed the hotel a week before arrival to request connecting or adjacent rooms. As they don't have connecting rooms they said they would try to give us adjacent rooms. However, these were not available on arrival and we were given 2 rooms a little way apart - a bit annoying.

Room is excellent, comfortable and clean with good ambience. However, the surroundings do not match the hotel at all, with the construction right in front of the hotel. And the internet was coincidently down during the whole 2 nites when i was there,making me handicap from work during those days. That is something disappointing, considering it is a 4 star hotel.

Hotel nice, in principle - airy and bright - but very sterile environment. More like an office block in terms of warmth and character. We were not treated in a particularly friendly or accommodating manner by staff; i.e. reception or bar/restaurant. They certainly didn't aim to go the extra mile and struggled to be friendly even when dealing with basic assistance - too much effort - for e.g. when asking for a leaflet/map to assist with our getting around. Ordered coffee in the bar on one occasion and it never arrived. When exiting the bar on giving up on ever seeing our drinks, saw the bar staff sitting round chatting, oblivious. Customer service and attention somewhat lacking, to put it mildly.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. It was a little further from the beach than we had been led to believe and the Hotel is situated quite a distance from the centre of town. Overall we were happy with our stay.
