staff has little command of English language and had problems processing credit card payment - beware if paying by credit card (they kept asking for the pin number, obviously their machine was set on debit and did not know how to work it out) also the directions by train from Plaza Catalunya to the hotel (on the hotel's website) were faulty - one needs to take rail road (S1, S2) to Sarria, not 3 line (subway)to Canyelles

O hotel é excelente, em uma região tranquila. Porém, para chegar aos pontos turísticos principais é muito distante. Existem três linhas de ônibus e as estações de trem/ metrô são muito distantes. Se ficar nele, considere cerca de 30 a 40 minutos de transporte para sair do hotel e chegar às atrações. Pela localização distante, considerei o preço que pagamos alto (125 E para duas pessoas, em um fim de semana com feridado e muitas festividades). O café da manhã é caro e não estava incluído. A cerca de 200 ou 300 m existem boas padarias onde pode-se tomar o café da manhã. Ponto positivo: acesso gratuito à internet, em um computador desconfortável mas rápido. Ele está muito próximo de hospitais. Se este for o seu destino, ótima opção.

I stayed here because it was very close to the conference I was attending, and found it very comfortable and modern with friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English. To get into the centre it is a ten minute walk to the (underground) train, and to be honest there isn't too much in the way of restaurants near to the hotel. But the train only takes ten minutes and runs late into the night, so not a problem. Taxi from the airport was around 20 Euros. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you need to stay in this part of Barcelona.

By train
From Barcelona Sants train station, take the underground line 5 towards Horta and get off at Diagonal station. Then, transfer to the FFGG railway to Sarrià. The hotel is located 200 meters from Sarrià station.
From Passeig de Gràcia train station, take the underground line 3 towards Canyelles and get off at Diagonal station. Then, transfer to the FFGG to Sarrià. The hotel is located 200 meters from Sarrià station.

By airplane
To get to the hotel from Barcelona El Prat International Airport, you can either take a taxi (the drive takes around 20 mintues), or the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya stop. Once at Plaça Catalunya square, take the FFGG railway (its station is located under the square) to Sarrià. The hotel is located 200 meters from Sarrià station.
You can also get to the hotel from the airport by train. Take the RENFE train to Sants-Estació, and then the underground line 5 towards Horta. Get off at Diagonal station, and then, transfer to the FFGG railway to Sarrià. The hotel is located 200 meters from Sarrià station.
