Hotel Travessera - Barcelona

Staff and facilities were great. Location/neighbourhood was fine, it's near the Alfons X metro stop. The bed sheets were not cleaned every day, but as this is a 2 star hotel, that's probably not to be expected. Breakfast were a little expensive for what you got so usually just got something at the many cafes/bakeries nearby. All in all, well worth the money, would use again the next time I'm in Barcelona.

Very good hotel with all the service, close to the parc Guel. We were a couple with 2 young childrens 3 and 6 years old, without car. There was easy to move in the town thanks to the subway.

Simply Excellent!

We spent 4 days at Travessera and overall found the hotel and its services satisfactory. The first impressions though were not very good as in the lobby we were confronted with a dirty, ugly, old couch as smoking place and with a suspicios receptionist when we asked for checking out the room before taking it. He even threathened us to charge the whole 4 days if we decide not to take the room. Anyway we ended up in a nice room exactly alike the one in the pictures on the website. It was tidy and cleaned every day. The roommaid was really nice, greeted us every morning. The buffet breakfast was sufficient and worth the money. We could even order espressos instead of the coffee on the buffet table at no extra cost. When travelling there keep in mind that from the metro station (Lesseps) it is still app. 10 minutes walk uphills. But there are several buses going nearby and there is a good bus map at the back of each bigger bus stop.

All the desk staff were very helpful & friendly. I would go there again on my next trip! Thanks to all.

Chambre très spacieuse, propreté acceptable, accueil professionnel. Aucun bruit provenant de l'extérieur de l'hôtel (voitures, passants etc.), en revanche on entend fort les personnes qui déambulent dans les couloirs. Hôtel conforme à son standing (2 étoiles). Une surprise néanmoins, la chambre double n'était pas composée d'un lit 2 places, mais de trois lits d'une place.

Es un hotel muy acogedor, lo mejor definitivamente la atencion , un ambiente familiar, siempre listos a colaborar. Hay servicio de internet, tv por cable y nevera en la habitacion. El lugar queda un poco alejado del centro pero pero hay un paradero de bus en frente. No habia muchos lugares para cenar en los alrededores. Lo recomiendo mucho!!

Noiser Rooms

Hotel simple bien place petit dejeuner correct en buffet. fenetres de la chambre tres etroites . bien pour une famille avec 2 enfants pour 2 nuits.

Nous avons passé une nuit à 4(2 chambres séparées dans le même "studio"), c'était convenable pour la durée, vis à vis pas top mais c'est un hotel et on y dort vraiment bien! Chambre climatisée avec thermostat,chambre propre,prcohe centre ville déjeuner servi correct car compris dans le prix.

Buona accoglienza, estrema disponibilità. Grandissimo aiuto nel risolverci un problema telefonando per conto nostro in luoghi dove si parlava solo spagnolo. Buona colazione. Pulito e in ordine. Nelle stanze ci vorrebbe uno specchio per farle sembrare un po' più grandi...

Hotel rooms are very poor. Our air conditioning was not working and it was August (so very hot) we asked the manager to fix it and he said he did but it was still broken. Hotel manager was very greedy. He tried to get money from us in every way possible.

Dark room with no outside light, overpriced. Beds not changed after first night. No satellite TV as advertised. On positive side large room and nice area, although not very central.
