overall very nice hotel, good locations clean and moder rooms in an old buildingm, great atmosphere: what lacks is more space in the room, a fridge and a telefone to call front desk. Breakfast should be available shortly before 10 if advertised,

Very adorable hotel! Great rooms, spacious and bigger than typical Italian, France, and Spanish hotels. Good breakfast in the hotel, it was 4 euros. Pretty good central location, just a tad on the North end from the Gothic quarter. But not a far walk at all. Overall we had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the hotel!

We absolutely were delighted that Praktik was exactly as hoped: convenient, walk to everywhere; great contemporary room with lovely balcony giving area charm and expanding space of room, excellent staff (Monica and Sebastian) were helpful and perfect daily service by housekeeping, nearby breakfast as promised which worked extemely well, available secure luggage storage which was big help since large suitcase would have been inconvenient in small room. Could not have been more pleased! It really was more than we could have imagined. Met the wonderful day/eve. staff but only Italian group of varied ages from teen to seniors. Most of the observed other customers were middle-aged (35-55) -- few Americans, mostly Europeans.

Hotel in a quiet side street just off P. de gracia so close to the station, wide variety of restaurants, shops & the sights.

Nice staff - but the room was far too small for the price. The bathroom was more hostel than hotel, and did not have room for the sink, so that was in the bedroom. As the room was so small, the bed was close to the corridor, and the other guests one night were very noisy in the corridor, running from room to room, I guess because their rooms were too small to socialise in. The spacious lounge and terrace were very nice but not utilised except to access the internet connected computer there. The TV could change channels, if you stood on the bed in the top corner and held the remote at a certain angle, but if the sound was loud enough to hear, then people in the other rooms could probably hear it too.

Nice hotel. Small rooms, but large beds. Free fast WIFI all over the hotel. Aircondition in rooms. No minibar. No breakfast offered at the hotel, but many nice cafes nearby to help you get a good start of the day. The hotel is close to Girona metro station (L4). Helpful staff with good English skills. Would stay there again.

muy bien situado, zona tranquila , puedes ir andando a todos los sitios de interés, Sagrada Familia , Ramblas Etc.Personal muy atento.Todo perfecto

I already stayed at the PRaktik a couple of times, always everything was perfect. Service and cleanliness is better than expected, location is perfect if you don't want to catch buses and metro. See ya next week, Praktik!!!!

Bathroom didn't had some main items (bidet, wc brush, soap for hands). In the night we found some insects (Lepisma saccharina Linnaeus) running on the floor.

The price too much for such small room witout furniture

Staff was helpful, good location, close to metro, good food around, Room was quiet. Room too small, not enough space to hang clothing or even open suitcase.

this is the first time we've been to Barcelona and we will certainly return and stay at the Praktik. The location really couldn't be rivalled, the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The Hotel is a little "shabby chic" but for the price is an absolute bargain. Had a fab stay and would definitely recommend!

First room we were issued was like a shoebox - way to small for myself, husband and one-year-old. However they moved us to a room at the back with a terrace which was 1000 times better. Even had original tiled floors which was a big bonus.

Good location close to centre of city. Clean rooms but rather small with a lack of wardrobe space. Excellent large bathroom. Good value for money

This was excellent value for money. Nicely located in the centre of the City and near to a metro station. The hotel is clean and basic but with stylish fittings so that it feels like a much more expensive place. Great bathroom with an excellent and enormous walk-in shower, and very comfortable bed, with a huge flatscreen tv. I would definitely recommend this.

I had a small but clean room with a very good bed. Unfortunately, the noise of the elevator was rather loud and disturbing in my room. Also, even though I asked for the towels to be changed after a few days they never did and just hung back the old ones. Excellent location though.

The room was tiny and the only window was a small very drab light well. Position in relation to sightseeing was excellent. While the room had all facilities like private shower/toilet, clean, recently renovated, comfortable bed, wireless Internet, good Internet room with computers and sofas, there was no feeling of wellbeing when in the room. It would not be possible to unpack a suitcase as shelving or hanging was VERY limited!!! The comfortable large bed took up most of the room. It was bearable in overall from my perspective because my stay was very short and I hardly spent time in my room apart from sleeping in it!

Praktik offered all we needed in Barcelona...a bed and a shower room. What we got was very clean and very comfortable, and very handy for exploring the city, with the metro just around the corner. Our only 'complaint' would be that the bedroom did feel a bit cell like and could do with a picture or something to break up the dark walls. On the otherhand the bathroom was huge! and could have had a single bed in the extra space.

El hotel está muy bien situado, la habitación espaciosa y minimalista, con una pequeña terraza que daba al típico patio de vecinos del barrio del Eixample, la cama grande y muy cómoda..pero en cuanto a la limpieza...habían algunos "rinconcitos" que dejaban mucho que desear...y no sería por falta de personal de limpieza; nos dábamos cuenta de su presencia a las 7 de la mañana. A pesar de ello: recomendable.

I was very impressed with our room. It was a great location for a good price, since everything is rather expensive. The bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was modern and new, there was a very cute balcony overlooking the street, and the floor had the original old tiles in good condition. Very sweet!
