Soho Hotel - Barcelona

My wife has never been to Barcelona and I was there many, many years ago. The hotel was very special as were the staff, especially David. We would strongly recommend this hotel, although there were street repairs in front of the hotel, they did NOT disturb us. By the way the hotel is super modern!!!

Overall, great value for the price. Would definitely recommend to friends and/or stay there again. We had my six year old daughter with us, and for 40 euro she got her own foldable bed. She loved all the buttons and the high-tech look of the place.

Arrived at the hotel late 10:45pm but we were already checked in and rooms allocatedand were able to go out to dinner by 11pm; excellent Good hotel in a good location, walking distance from the centre and attractions. Rooms were noisy but we were located at the front overlooking the Grand Via so should have been expected. Make sure you use the Turistica buses leaving Plaza Catalunya 26 euros for 2 days great value to see the city. Prostitutes and drug dealers/pickpockets on La Ramblas are the only negative point on a great city, can't believe that the city authorities do not do anything to eradicate this problem; they are not a tourist attraction!!!!

Very expensive breakfast - for what you get ! Try the cafe opposite the Hotel. A lot of traffic noise at night.

The hotel was great .. decor I would have to describe as hip or cool; modern and well appointed with mood lighting effects! The staff at the desk were very helpful in booking restaurants and advising on directions. The location is not right in the middle of all the tourist highlights, but just outside. It's an easy 10 min walk to La Rambla and shopping areas, and has a very close metro stop.

This is a fantastic hotel, a short walk to the Ramblas (but you can get metro right near hotel, only 2 stops to Plaza Cataluna)We were here for a 3 night break but we needed longer! Breakfast was lovely, the rooms are great. We loved the idea of the glass bathroom. And a great huge tv (but no english channels!) The only slight downside to the hotel is it needs a bar and restaurant. Room service is available though. If it had this it would be 5 star! The roof terrace is also a bonus with like a jacuzzi pool, we had half an hour up there! We will definately go back.

Good staff, well run and good location. Roof-top terrace/pool a nice touch in summer. Having to pay additional for sub-standard breakfast left a sour taste in our mouths though.

Very good location just outside the main tourist area. 10 min walk to Las Ramblas. Close to all main shopping areas. Close to a lot of good restaurants. Hotel is very tastefully decorated in an ultra modern way. Woud defenately go back!

this hotel is simply won-der-ful.. high-design rooms, a beautiful glass-bathroom in front of the bed, amazing jacuzzi swimming-pool on the terrace, and above all...it'sin the centre of the city..we arrived on walk everyway.. I'll definitly return in this hotel - Roberto, Roma
