The hotel is in a good location- it is easy to get from the metro station to the hotel and the metro is well connected to the city. the main issues where that the WIFI is not included and nor the breakfast. we paid a lot of money per night, and although it was a holiday in Spain we felt that it was over prices and a WIFI perk would be nice... you need to be a genius to turn on the TV and even a bigger one to turn it off (everything is in spanish so the TV was not used at all but it was a challenge to deal with it). the neighborhood is nice and the walk down to passage de gracia and then the gothic quarter is amazing. i would recommend this hotel and we had a blast in Barcelona. caffe fiory on plaza lesseps is nice and also you should try the bakery on the way to the park guel. those who walk from lesseps to park guel and do not like to climb mountains, should turn towards the park before the official turn cause there are escalators that shorten the way (you can see them from the main street)... ENJOY

Construction is going on around the hotel so walking to and from it is a little rough. The staff didn't even know what the national holiday was that occurred during our stay. The bed was pretty hard - and twin beds are no good for a couple.

Breakfast was of a very poor quality. Orange juice and fruit salad should be made of fresh fruit . yogourt was too quimical and coffee was bitter. Sorry but nobody was staying for breakfast because of that poor quality and it was quite expensif. I had to ask the maid to clean the room properly because of hair and dust on the floor she did it very well later..

Our room in 4th floor was new, nice, equipped with new furniture. It was small room but comfortable enough for shorter stay. Very clean, cleaned daily. Stuff spoke fluent english. Near metro station Lesseps, very near to well known Park Guell = great location!

The hotel is very good and clean. Close to the Metro station (5 min) If you have a car you must pay 24 euros per day , and they do not have even a spot to park while you check in (we had to pay 1 hour)

Our hotel room was on the first floor and had only one window which was facing the patio. Due to that there was almost no daylight in the room. The only way to tell the time of the day was our clocks :) I suppose rooms on higher floors and on street side would be much more pleasant. Sound isolation is really a direction in which some improvements should be made. However, our stay was quite pleasant. The room is clean and is sufficiently comfortable for a short stay in Barcelona. Hotel is very close to metro station or 30 minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya.

The only problem was to find the Hotel. The email contains only the following instructions which is absolutely not enough. "métro ligne L3 jusqu'à Lesseps. L'hôtel est à deux minutes à pied." 2 minutes, but in which direction ???? not even the name of the street we have to follow !!!! incredibly poor information on this email !

Ronda Lesseps is a nice place located in a safe district. A ways from las ramblas and the sites but very easy to access all via the metro which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Nice neighborhood with supermarkets and nearby library (if you should need) . Las ramblas can actually be walked to from the hotel. It is a 30-40 walk but down a street with trendy shops, cafes, and patisseries made it well worth it. Do not let the location put you off, Barcelona has a very good metro system and lesseps is on the best line. Cheap internet and small but nice rooms.

The hotel met all our requirements for a quiet, reasonably costed but efficient hotel with the exception of not including breakfast in the price. They are quite up-front about this but we believe they are also short-sighted in doing so. Breakfast at 8euros per person would have added a further 112euros to our bill. We in fact took breakfast of espresso and croissants at a very clean cafe just up the road at a mere 1.95euros each every day.

The location of the hotel is very good. you can easily reach the metro station with a few minutes walk. its away from the chaos of the city center. but tere is a building construction just opposite of the hotel so that makes a lot of noise. people at the reception are very friendly and very helpful. if you have a car, parking is very expensive - 24 euro per day- but if i visit Barcelona again i would definitely choose this hotel.

The staff are reasonably friendly and helpful here. The hotels policy is full payment on arrival. Although it isn't right in the centre, it's very near Parc Guell and easily accessible to everywhere by bus and Metro - the metro is less than a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast very expensive! Had stayed here previously and would go back. A good cheap hotel.

We moved to this hotel after having faced a terrible night at a B&B on Gran Via (extremely noisy). It was a great surprise! For only EUR 40 we got a room with a jacuzzi, close to the metro, walking distance to Casa Batlo and stuff, and better of all, close to a nice residencial area and Park Guel! Superb deal!!

If you are staying in Barcelona for a few days and want to get away from the crowds on the Ramblas this is ideal. Very reasonable, good breakfast, polite staff and five minutes from Lesseps underground, which takes you into town in 5 minutes. Or just walk down Gran de Gracia and enjoy some of the best modernista that often gets missed. Nera to parc Guell too. Loads of buses pass near too.

This was the first time we've stayed at R.L's and was very happy with The Hotel - it was Good value for money and only a step or two from The Metro which was very handy and the Construction work across the road was not a problem as read in other reviews. Good: Bargain for the price we paid (50 a night). Rooms were clean and stylish. Bad: Shower screen leaked onto floor so bathroom flooded when we showered. Booked a 'double' bed which was actually two single beds pushed together - very dodgy. Filled out a complaint form - stayed 4 nights and the manager had not responded. You have to pay for internet. Comments: Hotel was only 5 mins walk to the metro station. Parc Guell is very close too. Payment was required upfront.

Me and my friend were looking for some cheep accommodation in Barcelona and didn't expect much. Ronda Lesseps hotel surprised us in very positive way. Rooms were quite big, clean and comfortable, room service and desk service excellent, delicious breakfast included and good access to city centre and places around. Thanks to choosing that hotel our stay was much easier and pleasurable then we thought. It's great choice for this price.

We stayed in Barcellona 4 days and found the hotel very comfortable and very well positioned. The hotel is situated 3 minutes from the central line's metro station of Lesseps. The hotel's area is quite safe and there are supermarkets and shop close by. On the way to the metro station you can find a good Italian expresso and Park Guell is very close by. Rooms have been recently restructured and are very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it if you plan to tour the city and want something comfy to sleep at.

The hotel was surprisingly good and new. Rooms are very spacious. Toilet is spacious as well. There were no refrigerator in the room so, couldn't keep some food and water in the room. The was some issue with A/C cause it was not making room temperature as cold as I wanted and thus it was a bit hot after day time even though curtains were closed during the day. Hotel staff used to take soaps once opened, though don't understand the reason for that :) Also, hotel requires to pay upfront for the hotel. This is rediculous since credit card information is with hotel...

First time in Barcelona, we are a young couple that wanted something cheap but nice.. The hotel was fairly nice. It was alittle far from the city (youcouldnt walk there) but the metro was only 5min walk from the hotel. If its just a room you want then its great. We caught a taxi from city centre a few times and was suprised at how cheap it was. Overall it was a great week in Barcelona.

The hotel is convenient to the center of city using the metro. It is out of city center, but we booked it for the price. City center was more expensive. The hotel location seemed to be safe. I would recommend taking the airport bus to the Plaza Catuluna and a taxi to the hotel on your arrival. If you have lots of luggage. The taxi cost us about 12 euros for 3 people, 3 pieces of luggage and in heavy traffic. We used the metro to return to the plaza to catch the airport shuttle to leave. Our room was on the same side as the streets so was a little loud at night, but I did not have any trouble getting a good nights sleep. We booked a triple room. Two beds were upstairs and one single bed was down a small spiral staircase. It would have been difficult to get a large suitcase down the stairs. We left all suitcases upstairs and had no problems with room.

"NO RECOMENDABLE"

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and the receptionists are very kind. It is located near the Park Guell, but you need to take the metro to reach all the other attractions of the city. Anyway the metro is easy to reach, only 5 min. walk. I don't know if I have been in Barcelona in an "unlucky" period, but I think that the hotel was very expansive (90€/day for a single room), also considering that it's not really in the centre of the city. Also the breakfast is expansive, it's better to go to the coffees outside the street. In future I'll come there only if the price will be lower.

We were a group of 6 people divided into two triple rooms. The rooms were confortable, spacious, tidy and clean. The only drawback was the fact that if you are looking for additional services (parking, security lock,...) the prices per day are rather high. Anyway good location (5 min walk to the Lesseps metro station) and when you come back home late at night the taxi can drive you there quite easily for about 5 EURO from downtown.

Overall this hotel provides good service. However, there were deficiencies. First, the switch (indicator of air-con was out of order and we could not adjust low temperature and felt hot. This was fixed that the staff changed other room to us when we requested. Once again, we found the window could not be locked when we took security check to confirm the window was close and locked in the night(we would say the window was also out of order before we moved to it and we did not tell the staff). These two issues are minor problems and the hotel can avoid these deficiencies by checking the rooms before giving them to customer and prevent customer complaint and waste hotel manpower. This is what we call "Quality Service". Just wonder if hotel provides a checklist to room cleaners, therefore, it can avoid problem happen and make sure room cleaners to do their right job and take their responsibility.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted - which was a base to explore from. We were given a mezzanine room which was an excellent feature as my son is 16 and this gave him some privacy. We were just expecting twin beds. The staff were very helpful and professional and dealt with any queries promptly. The buffet breakfast was very good value and recommended. The facilities were a bit limited, but this was what we were expecting - so not a problem. Brilliant location as close to the metro and also Park Guell.

The people at Ronda Lesseps will try and rip you off every step of your stay. On the website it says you have a safe in your room, you do but its only when checking out, that they will present you with a bill of 20 - 40 Euro for the use of the safe! The staff at Ronda Lesseps really put a wet patch on our stay and our room smelt like roadkill

We were very disappointed with the location of the hotel which looked out on to a building site. It was very expensive (240 euros per night) and on top of that we were charged for parking at the hotel. The bathroom smelled unpleasant and the basin did not drain. There was even a deposit for use of the TV remote control. We will not be returning or recommending the hotel to anyone.

OK Hotel, but far from the city centre (Taxi/metro needed). Room nice and clean, but a strange smell in the bathroom. No remote for the TV - but I didn't request one since I didn't go there to watch TV.

The Hotel is near a metro station (Lesseps), using the metro you can get the center of Barcelona within 5-10 minutes! The room was perfect, I only had to go and buy bubble bath.. The bath could actually make bubbles !! 80 euros for a 2 person room, with a flat tv, nice sofa... nice staff.. it was not expensive! This was my first hotel and it was a real great experience!

Overall good value during the week. I do not understand why the prices during the weekend are that much higher. If the room price would have been the same during the weekend, we would gladly have stayed another 3 nights. Now we moved to another hotel.Beds are a bit hard. The included & reasonnably good breakfast is most certainly an advantage.

Your indication to the location of the hotel is wrong. You idicates "ghotic quarter" and in facts the hotel is located in a peripheric quarter near the Lesseps underground station. The hotel's quality is very correct but the deception is big when you beleive to stay in the center of the historic quarter and in fact you have to take the publics transports to go where you would be stay. Thank you for your answer and the modification of your web site présentation.

Tha map on tehe web site was totally wrong. The bathroom(room 306) needed reparations. On the other hand, the room was nice, breakfast was excellent andthe staff was very kind. The hotel is quite far away from the center of Barcellona but there is a metrostation nearby.

We had an excellent stay at the quiet Ronda Lesseps which was a very good value for money in Barcelona without unneccesary extra's. We slept like logs in the hard but comfortable beds. It was very easy to reach everywhere by public transport, main attractions just 4 stops away. The breakfast buffet was the best we had during our 2 weeks travel through northern Spain, at least there was cheese available!(besides jam, joghurt, fruits, ham etc)

Great hotel, really new and nice staff, however it was a little out of the way and not close to the Ramblers which was stated by the website. On the other hand there were great underground links. Overall we had a really nice time just a little out of the way.
