Very nice hotel, first room was to small' next day they changed to a larger room. Reading lights are very good, breakfast rich and price worth. After midnight they shut off outside lights, was difficult to find the hotel on first after night arrival

Great location. We had a quad room (one was a rollaway bed). The room itself was quiet, however, there does not seems to have any insulation between the door and the hallway. A French gentleman was talking loudly on his cell phone in the hallway at 3 am in the morning and I had to ask him to stop. Luckily he did.

Excellent sized and quiet room. Excellent friendly staff. Right by the Placa de Catalyuna and near airport buses and Metro. One major gripe was that there were no tea-making facilities in the room. Two small gripes: a. dirty drip sealer at bottom of shower door and b. breakfast at 16 Euros too expensive - we used cafe across road for a lot less than half that price Travellers should use the brilliant airport bus - to within 200 yards of the hotel. Cheap (just over 5 euros) and fast. Much better than the train - as that requires changes and took nearly an hour to get to the same spot.

Very pleasant, helpful staff. Architecturally beautiful. Ideal location close to, but not on, Las Ramblas. I've had a couple of disappointing hotlel experiences in Barcelona, but I'm pleased to say I would recommend this hotel to anyone...9/10

The hotels location is excellent, short walking distance to the Rambla (50 meters), buses, taxi, underground etc. The faciities was ok, but the room needs refurbishment and did not look like a 4 star room. The sink was located in the room as the bathroom was too small. But the biggest problem is the noise between the rooms! Must be paper walls. Unfortunately, our neighbours was some youngsters who waked us up when they arrived early morning and ruined our sleep for three nights. Of this reason alone will we try another hotel next time we visit this great city.

Hotel Regina is excelently situated for a city break in Barcelona. It is a quiet and comfortable Hotel, and I found the staff most helpful and friendly. I would certainly return there, though it might be noisier during the summer if one needed to have tthe windows open.

Very conveneint location. The reception staff especially Isaac were very helpful giving us great suggestions on restaurants and also how to move around, etc. Right in the middle of everything which was most helpful. Did not have breakfast at the hotel as it was pretty expensive.

Great stay, excellent location right off La Rambla and the Catalunya M station. Staff was great, no hassles checking in or out. We took our two boys ages 10 and 13 and had plenty of room. Perfect for a long weekend. Would stay there again in a minute.

Excellent location, just a few steps from Placa de Catalunya and the main street Las Rambla. You also have Metro, grocery store, El Corte Ingles (department store), Subway (if you did not include breakfast at the hotel) and many more shops within the range of 100 metres. The hotel is great value for money, with free WiFi included.

Really enjoyed my stay in Barcelona, good central hotel, easy to find, with excellent staff on the front desk who were more than happy to help and provide advice, with the free internet terminals an added bonus. Rooms basic, but spacious and clean, perfect for a short stay. Breakfast in the hotel is pricey at 16 euros, but its a good buffet selection and convient. I certainly would stay at the Regina again if visiting Barcelona.

We were traveling to Barcelona with our children: 18, 13,10. We stayed 3 nights in the Regina Hotel and it was great. Great location, right in the center of the city. The stuff was very helpful, they allowed us to stay in the hotel until 1500 without any further charges (because our flight was scheduled to 2400). The rooms were clean and very spacious. If we get again to Barcelona we will defiantly stay in this hotel once more.

Very nice hotel in a great location right by Las Ramblas. Ask for a room with a view if you want one ours looked out onto the back of a huge billboard but the room was quiet and nice so we didn't mind. Would stay here again.

This hotel was recommended to us and we were so glad. Very clean and roomy. Easy to get to everything. The employees spoke very good English so communcation was easy. When we go back this will be the hotel we stay at. The only thing that was noisy was the closing of the doors to the other rooms.

You couldn't ask for a better location! Nearby to the major shopping streets, across El Corte Ingles and just a short walk to Las Ramblas. The rooms were very spacious although there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Smoking rooms should be separate from non-smoking rooms. Breakfast was a bit expensive and should have just been included in the price of room. The lift was also a bit small but as it is in most european hotels. They were also efficient in arranging for our airport transfer and other minor requests. Would definitely stay here again and will even recommend it to others.

This was our first time at the hotel. Hotel bar was only a cocktail bar which was a disappointment and the swimming pool was not part of the hotel it was a 5 min walk away so we didn't bother. On the positive side there were 3 PC's giving free internet acess with free printing service which was great. The room was really nice but was a bit hot and a bit noisy in the morning. Fastastic location on top of Las Ramblas and would highly reccommend it.

I was in barcelona in august 2008 for two nights with my daughters ( 10 and 16). We got a very spacious triple room. Everything was as described in the web pages and even better. The location was great, only 30-50m walk from placa catalunya in a very nice side street. We enjoyed very much our stay in regina hotel and without any hesitation would come back. The only inconvenient was the very little window we had in our room ( which was very big) so it was quite dark.It didn'nt affect our stay at all because we were out all the time but I had to mention it. Enjoy your stay!

The Regina is every bit a 4-Star property, located in the heart of Barcelona just a few steps from the Placa de Catalunya, Barcelona's main square. The rooms were somewhat larger than the typical European property and well fitted out with flat screen TV and a dazzling array of lighting controls. Everything was quite modern and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was rather expensive and not included in our booking, so check carefully to be sure you know the full costs. However, there are loads of local spots just outside where it is possible to have an inexpensive breakfast or a snack anytime. This hotel is every bit as advertised - reasonably priced, great location and excellent services. Highly recommended by The Savvy Traveler.

The hotel is modern clean and welcoming in a great location for bus turista, shopping, Las Ramblas. Internet is available and free. Bar is quiet with light food available. Personnel welcoming, staff always cleaning, bartender accommodating. We were an extended family of grandparents, parents and an 8 and 10 year old. We all enjoyed the hotel. Beds are great, bathrooms large and spotless. Minifrigs are a welcome addition. Although somewhat pricey, worth the cost. Good for business, tourist. Not good for very small children.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just two minutes from the Ramblas. On arrival we were greeted at Reception by a member of staff who kept interrupting his conversation with us to take phone calls. We were then sent off to find our room and carry our own luggage. The room was small and had very little natural light.

Plan of room not logic.[417] Sink in the room very un comfortable. Single room badly planned, hoped for a better one.[407] charging extra for safe not nice for 4 stars hotel.Elavator small, warm & very slow not fitted for many tourists with luggage. The service elavator was a better one.The hotel didn't find the venere resarvation, made us worried for nothing.

A very pleasant, centrally located hotel with high quality rooms and good service. However! The beds were quite the hardest and most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Our room was excellent but my wife and I could not sleep. At our request, we were moved to another room but there seemed little difference in the hardness of the bed. It was rather like sleeping on a pile of bricks. A shame really because in all other respects it is a very nice hotel in an excellent location.
