Hotel Ramblas Barcelona - Barcelona

The hotel is located in a great spot right on La Rambla and really close to a lot of restaurants and street artists. It was also a short walk down to the marina. Our hotel room was spacious and had a balcony which were the only perks of the room. It smelled as though they were trying to mask the smell of smoke with lots of cleaning products. We asked to switch rooms on the first night but, they said they couldn't move us. The sheets were very old and stained. Two out of the 3 lights in the bathroom were out when we arrived. We asked DAILY for them to be changed and they were still out when we checked out 4 days later. We literally showered in the dark for 4 days. I would never recommend this hotel. The staff was unhelpful and room was far from clean or cozy.

The hotel is great and centrally located. We had a room with a small balcony towards La Rambla street and I would recommand a room that faces La Rambla. It really wasn't too noisy and was fun watching. The staff was wonderful and helped us with every little question. The breakfast was nice for the price. We had to pay 12.5 Euros in order to use the safe.

Perfect room for a perfect time in Barcelona. Good breakfast and clean and OK room. Maybe it was a bit cold the first 2 days but then the wether became better. Thank You for a nice time in Barcelona.

Many rooms without windows !

A great location, clean , friendly staff with good English and very helpful. The breakfast was plentyful well presented and a good variety. Personally i allow for mishaps, as long as the hotel has a clean bed and is generally clean i am usually happy.Great location especially since my husband has mobility problems.

An accomodation which i would like to reccomend for the excellent quality vs price rate, probably the cheapest 3 star hotel on the ramblas

Our room was on the 4th floor facing the La Rambla. The bathroom had an odor of sewage when the toilet was flushed. Pricey for the room accommodations.

The main quality of this hotel is location, whereas the surrounding zone is rather noisy at night. Not for a long stay in Barcelona. The hotel and servicies are equal as indicated in the website. Satisfactory.

I was afraid before leaving because I had read a lot of bad comments, but everything was ok: the hotel is clean and quiet. our room was exactly at the back of Palau Guell. we had a very nice terrasse( it was room N°303). Breakfast was really good and with a wide choice. All the people we met in the hotel were friendly and helpful

Buon hotel in posizione strategica per visitare la città

The room had some strange and badly smell. We requested to change the room immediately but the staff could not do for us and asked us to wait until the next morning. The staff from the breakfast room was very kind and provided us a very good service. Great location as it near to metro station and the main street.Overall, this 3 star hotel is not bad except the bad smell in the room.

Good Hotel, Helpful Staff, Great Location and the Breakfast was decent as well. Would recommend it.

Although this was just an average hotel, it provided good value for money. The breakfasts offered a large range of food. Staff were very helpful. A good hotel if you are not staying in the room much.

Good hotel in downtown. Near all the important city attractions. Fine rooms.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and location of hotel was very convenient for local attractions. Negative aspects of the hotel were: - Not enough pillows or blankets in room (it was January so not very warm) - No mini bar in room - Bathroom/toilet smelled of sewage - Food at breakfast was poor quality for a 3 Star hotel, and we noticed a lot of other guests left their food too. - There was no car parking nearby, no info on the website about this and the car park that we did use was very expensive. We stayed in the Hotel Costabella in Girona (also a 3 Star) which was excellent - warm, quiet, with good food, and very convenient if you fly into Spain from the north.
