Hotel Pensión Segre - Barcelona

Wonderfully situated in the old city, serviceminded englishspeaking staff, clean rooms with spartanic but sufficient functions. Go visit!

To find out the pension I was obliged to use google maps, finally find out the place we were surprised by the room: sure it was a bath in the past, now a "room" with 4 beds & not space to move, there was no windows & no fresh air. Bath in common was terrible. There was also something positive: everything was very clean, the position is the best to visit Barcellona & the price is very god.

Hostal Pensión Segre was very good for me.

Room no. 307 (but I saw 3 rooms with the same view from windows)has a window (40 cm can be opened) to a narrow shaft with kitchen smog from down. It has a cold look and feel (2 m flagging at walls, old yellow an brown colors door, walls and wardrobe. Temperature 30 degrees C, although outer temperature was 18 C in the evening. Propeller-ventilator did not help - I came now down with a cold. Got a towel only on inquiry.

Good location. Excellent value for money. A bit noisy at night-from the street.

Guests came to the hotel drunk and made a big noise and the hotel personnel interfere or warn them. Hotel was not clean

The desk clerks were courteous and helpful. The only real problem was the noise from adjoining buildings or the street.

The hotel was very well located. The room was cleaned even if we had some problems with the hot water: we had to open both sink and shower to have a nice temperature. The personell was very nice with us 3 girls: for example recommended us to pay attention to our bags on the rambla and metro.

Quietness is not certain, because it's not a recent construction

Posizione ideale, 5 min a piedi dalla metro, proprio nel centro a 5 min. dalle rambla. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. nel mio piano c'erano solo due cam con il bagno in comune, la mia + un altra quindi il bagno era quasi sempre disponibile e pulitissimo.

I've been to Barcelona for the first time so I didn't know the city and I was afraid that I won't see places which interest me. Fortunately Pension Segre is located in such a good place - near the monument of Columbus, 5 minutes on foot from Rambla, the port Vell, near metro station Drassanes- that I could see everything what is worth to see in Barcelona. I recommend EPnsion Segre to everybody!;)
