Moreover, the entrance of this luxurious hotel is really elegant and there is always a hall porter waiting for the guests.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location, close to Passeig de Gràcia, the most beautiful street of the city where there are some Gaudi's buildings: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló.

Moreover, it is 2 minutes walking from Gothic quarter, Plaça Catalunya and from Las Ramblas, a picturesque and long avenue that connects the city centre with the Mediterranean sea and the marina.
The hotel is situated just in a corner of Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, in an important business and shopping area where there are a lot of offices enterprises and some elegant shops. Therefore, it is a secure area and a good point to begin visiting Barcelona, because it is in the city centre and only ten minutes by car from the beach.

Avendo trovato un ottima sistemazione ritengo che contrariamente alle abitudine di altri Hotels italiani e americani,la prima colazione dovrebbe essere inclusa nel prezzo.

We were welcomed in an excellent way and the 2nd room we booked for our son and his wife was upgraded to a junior suite for the same price. Reveived a bottle of red Crianza wine togeter with a bottle of still water from the management. At my wife's 6otj birthday we got a bottle of Spanish Cava together with lovely pastries. A hozel I certainly will go back to when visiting Barcelona. The staff is very frienly and helpful for any type of questions.

Very good, though no bus service from airport as per the website and given the price annoying to have to pay extras for things like tea in the room! Staff helpful and a good location

Everything was wonderful at the Ritz. A true top notch hotel. The website does well on description and pictures. One thing to remember is that there is smoking permitted everywhere, and being from the States it was hard to get used to.

The standard of the hotel was what one would expect from the Ritz. Service was first class. The only downside was the very high prices in the restaurant and bar compared with good establishments in the vacinity.

Great place... has a very authentic feel to it. Staff could be more pleasant and discreet, especially at breakfast! Thoroughly enoyed the stay otherwise.

This is an old property - and it's age is showing a bit. In comparison to other Ritz Hotels around the world, this one did not meet my expectations.

How to reach Hotel Palace

By car
The hotel is easy to reach from El Prat airport, just taking Ronda Litoral and exit at Vila Olímpica in Barcelona city. Then continue until Passeig de Colon and turn right to via Laietana avenue. Continue along this street until Urquinaona square, then take Roger de Llúria street. The hotel is just at the crossing of that street and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes avenue.

By train
There is a train from El Prat airport that arrives in 20 minutes to the Barcelona main railway stations (Sants and Plaça Catalunya). From Plaça Catalunya guests can arrive to the hotel in a two minutes walking distance.

By airplane
There is a bus line from the airport that reaches Plaça Catalunya in 30 minutes. The hotel is in a two minutes walking distance from the bus stop.

The Scotch bar has a pure English style and is decorated with high-quality wood and comfortable armchairs. It is a cozy and quiet corner, ideal for taking the best cocktails and dips.

Apart from this, there is a lounge bar that offers every day at 5 p.m. the afternoon tea, a full tea service with a wide selection of cakes and pastries.
