Room and bathroom are very small and not isolated from the adjacent ones from the point of view of the noise (at 5.0 a.m. I was awakened by female pleasure moans from the adjacent room). The position is excellent (close to metro station, Montjuch and the historical center) and the zone is very safe and quiet. Good relationship between price and quality

The hotel was very noisy (the windows are thin, all sounds in the hotel come until the room). The welcoming was poor (one friendly person, the other as smily as a rock). The personal advices us to take breakfast outside ! For the service, it is very expansive : 306 euros for three nights without any service !!

The rooms were quite spacious with hot water and good sized bed and it was clean but the rooms were noisy because of the thin walls and bad plumbing noices. Generally we were happy and situated next to metro station and Rambla street, I would recommend it to other holiday makers.

I wanted to change my reservation and i called the hotel instead of doing it directly by venere. The employee told me that it was all ok and didn t told me to change throughout the website. Ones in the hotel they told me that this guy could not have say that to me and they wanted to charge me. I talked to this guy and he recognize that he made a mistake but he diidn't take responsibility of that. Then another guy told me that they are "just employes" and their word is worthless. I had to pay for one night i didn t even use. it s true that i should change my reservation by venere but when i called the hotel, an employe didn t telle me that and he accepted my reservation change. THe hotel shouold have recognize his employe mistake instead of pretending until my last day and charge me. The director was never there and didn t have the courage to talk to me. It was really a bad experience and i don't advise anybody to go this hotel where employes treat you with disrespect and dishonesty.

The hotel is good only fot the location. The rooms are absolutely ordinary and it doesn't seem that the hotel is quite recent (2001). We were asked to pay in advance the total amount of the three rooms. The price is too high compared with the given service. I asked for a printout from Internet, urgent for me, and they answered to me to go in an internet point, when there was a printer over the desk......

Really nice staff. Perfectly situated 2 minutes from 'La Rambla'. Rooms simply to noisy, but perfect for me as a solo traveller.

A good value for the price. I was able to book it for around 100 US$ daily in February. Barcelona is getting really expensive and it would've been over double that during high season. The hotel is in good shape. The Good: -Clean -recently renovated rooms -had a balcony (7 euro daily charge) -own bathroom -marble floors -10 minute walk to Ramblas -5 minute walk to Montjuic. The path up is just at the end of the street and w/in another 5 minutes there's a great view of the city. Another 5 minutes at the park is a great cafe w/ panorama views. -Ramblas seems to have been cleaned up. I didn't see any thieves and felt safer than during the previous trips. The bad: -Front door staff were foreign exchange students or similar and could care less about standard greetings or faking a smile -Marble floors means loud hallways. I could hear my neighbors as I'm sure they could hear me. -The room could use some colors and decorations. -I wouldn't pay over 200 US$ during high season for it since the rooms are small -Typical hard Spanish bed I didn't pay for the breakfast and I believe it was about 10 euros a day which is definately not worth it when a coffee w/ a couple of pastries can be had for half the price a few blocks away.

Hotel was as advertised; a two star hotel at a reasonable price for Barcelona. Rooms were acceptably clean and the staff was nice. I thought the location was good given the price; less than 5 minutes walk from the Parallel metro stop. Negatives: The water pipes in the building can be quite loud and a little annoying from time to time. I also would counsel against eating at their affiliated restaurant, The Barrock.

I stay in a double room very clean. The Parra- elle was at the bottom of the road for reasonable breakfast and open late. ramblers and the maria was five minuetes away and the metro was at the bottom of the road on the parra-elle. would stay there again

The room was nice and quiet enough for a one night stay. It wasn't very spacious, but in Barcelona, it is tough to find a nice, big room for a cheap price. I thought the map location could have been a little better demonstrated, as it was slightly confusing at first.

It was cheap. It was small. It was as-advertised. In other words, exactly what I wanted. But, the elevator was really slow and the drink machine in the lobby was a rip-off. The surrounding neighborhood was sketchy. In a different situation, I'd have stayed elsewhere, but since I didn't want to waste a lot of money on a room I wouldn't spend much time in, this place worked out okay.

Hotel is conveniently located for the Ramblas, port and anywhere really, since a metro station is so close by. The single room was small but fine and the bathroom was immaculate. Good value for money - the only criticism would be that sound-proofing between rooms could be improved.

Well located. Fair amount of noise from both the street and other rooms. AC only turned on at night. Excellent shower and water pressure. Good service. A reasonable choice for a basic hotel close to the old city but avoiding the crowds of La Ramblas.

It's a completely soulless building, with no room to socialize with other guests. But it's not a bad place to stay if others are already booked. Staff was friendly and helpful; my single-bed room was tiny but clean, with a/c and tv. Location is pretty good: a 10-minute walk to Las Ramblas and nearby the Metro. But if you want to meet new people? Forget it!

the single room that I'd asked for, was about 7! square metres! Too narrow and with a really bad bed. they did'nt change my sheets for four nights! The same rubbish was on the floor of the bathroom for all the days! And I was hearing all the rumors of the neighbour's bathroom. The view was excellant! The wall of a tall building! All these for 64 euros a night!
