Hotel Medium Prisma - Barcelona

A very clean and modern hotel. Room was of average size and had everything to accommodate us for all our needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at the Prisma Hotel again.

Although the hotel was clean and well located, the room they gave me was very, very small (2.50m x 2.50m) and the small window it had was a fake one. But the worst thing it was that I heard very loud all the pipes of the shower from the next room very loud.

I have spent four days in a double room and i have nothing to complain about. it was a little noisy, that is true, but i expected a much smaller room or one with no view (i saw many people complaining about that in their comments). i would go back again for sure.

The hotel accommodations, breakfast, staff, were all excellent. The one area that wasn't up to par was the internet wi-fi: it came up "low" and continually kicked you off. The first 3 days it was virtually nonexistent; the last 3 we had to go to the breakfast room to get connected. We were there for a business conference so wifi was imperative and the lack of it was a hardship. The hotel needs to monitor it and ensure it is always available--we chose the hotel in large part because they advertised wifi internet availability throughout the property.

Overall we were pleased with the conditions the hotel offered and the price/quality ration. Pros: friedly staff, clean and nice room, quite neighborhood. Cons: paper-thin walls - you could hear perfectly the other guests, even when they sneezed!, not very close to the metro station (5-10 minutes of walking).

Single room, is exactly that a small room with a single bed, quite adeqaute despite all that .

Room much smaller than expected; window facing wall; construction in same building from 8am-8pm.

Struttura accogliente: stanza piccola, ma molto pulita e ben tenuta. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel especially after reading decent reviews on this site. I don't really mind that the room was small and had a window that opens to a wall. My main issues were as follows: - you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the other rooms - you can't turn up the tv volume past a certain point to drown out the other hotel occupants - When I would return to my room, it smelled of cigarette smoke, I assume from the venting system since I don't smoke - they held on to my passport for some time...I'm not sure why and they didn't tell me why - you have to pay for a safe key - breakfast costs extra. For a single traveller, you can deal with much of this. For couples or families, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The single room that I had for two nights was quite small with no windows and a possibility to hear what my neighbours are doing during the night! However, the room was very clean! In view that the price for that room was of about 110€/night, the quality/price ratio is only 2.

Very clean and adequate hotel. The girl at the reception extremely helpful and competent. The hotel is very close to the Diagonal and from there, 15 minutes enjoyable walk to P. Gracia. Found our room spacious, modern and comfortable. The first night we were given a double room which was pretty small but the 2nd and the 3rd day they have changed it for a better one. I find the prices high for a 2 star hotel, but Barcelona seems overrated, so the price is normal for there. Would recommend this hotel.

A lot of noise from traffic.

Room number 8 is quite noisy, you can hear pepole walking, talking, the lift opening and up and down.. Bathroom was not completely clean one of the days... Despite these coments, at least the bed was confortable and the employees provided an excellent treat. About breakfast, it is same price as a continental in a 4 star but there's no fruit at all... nothing hot to eat.. I thing it would be quite easy to improve all these points.
